Looks sexy as heeeeel!!!!
Perfect JDM look.
Perfect JDM look.
Kind of. I had rust holes where my hatch bolted on to, fire came during the process of welding in new metal. It was too dark for pics today, but I'll get some sooner or later. It's supposed to rain all week. 👎👍 looks good. So is this how the interior caught fire?
My cousin did the bodywork and paintwork. He's the head painter for a local bodyshop, so his work is top notch.I see, so did you spray it yourself? Planning on giving the corolla a new paint job myself, still trying to decide on the color.
Prefered it in silver, get bored of seeing champ white Civics on Enkeis.
The Enkeis won't be around for too much longer, they don't fit over my new brakes, so once I get that put together, I'll need something new.Oooh, you kept the door rubstrip and door handles black? Looks nice, without the contrast it provides the car would look exceedingly bland.
Now the Enkeis need to go polished/chrome or get paint matched.
I get bored of seeing silver Civics on anything really. I know 4 dudes with silver hatchbacks personally, yet in my city, I've got the only champ white Civic so far.Prefered it in silver, get bored of seeing champ white Civics on Enkeis.

11 inch (from 9.5) and switching to discs in the rear. I can't really stuff much more without pulling the fenders. A 215 would fit, but it would rub a lot. I don't really plan on running bigger than a 205. Even if I could, a 205 is a really commonly used size, giving me a popular choice that I can then use to help me compare my car to others. How big of brakes are you going to? And how much tire can you stuff under there?
EDIT: @ Rotary Junkie: You mean Phoenix Yellow?
Enkei RPF1s are known to kind of suck when it comes to brake fitment, so pretty much every other 15 inch wheel should fit. I think these might just be able to squeeze over, but when I was sort of fitting everything up, they seemed to clear the wheel itself, but not the wheel weights (talk about tight! )Apparently after a quick search, yes, as it's two names for the same color. Everywhere but the US apparently uses Sunlight Yellow as the color name, or at least that's what I picked up. Still code Y-56 or whatever.
Oh and RE brakes/wheels, I presume the clearance is an issue with the Enkeis and some other 15s but not all? And you'll be staying 15s? Or going to 16s?

I wouldn't spend money to make my car stock, so no Type R wheels, but those are 15, as well as 5 lug.EK9 Civic R wheels? Or are they 15" too? What you really want are the wheels from your buddy's Miata again... they were awesome.

These wheels would just be temporary wheels until I'm at a point with my car that I feel like I can afford to spend $1000+ on a set of wheels again. Currently looking at the Buddy Club P1 wheel.
Now I'm a douche bag, but I thought it looked better in silver.![]()

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. 👍
I'm really happy with the car, and Champ White has always been my favorite color for a car, so painting it any color other than that would feel like a waste of money.
Sweet. Champ White is taking over the world!!!!
It's been a while since we had a chat, and I forgot that you were planning on this respray. I didn't realize it would happen this quick. The car looks so much better with all those dents gone. I sure wish I had some changes to look forward to soon.
