The SE-R is the Spec-V.

No, the SE-R comes with a 4speed auto or 5spd manual, the SE-R Spec V is a 6spd maunal and has a little more power, and a few more additions.

bah, you'd be better of with a 2001 Sentra 2.0 SE. That QR25 engine is cool and torquey and all, but not very moddable. The power curve is also far inferior to the SR20's. But if you must get a Spec-V, don't get a 2002. Too many factory problems. Go for an '03.

Actually, I checked out edmunds and the 03 model had more factory problems then the 02, plus I have found more 02 models then 03.

well this is my first car, and im proud that i got a nice car when i bought it and i dont have to waste money fixing it again, can you guys tell me if it look like a Ricer or not, its just drop low with Si rims and some front lip add on. I bought this car for $5000. It's a 96 hatch with front 00 Si front conversion with integra seats and a fiber hood.

But, NightDrifter, that civic looks pretty darned nice. I agree it's ricey but it's good rice, not poser rice.

well hey, i know its ricey but here's another pics from the sideviews and i dont know how my car is ricey, i didnt put any big wings or sticker on it, its just add on and drop low? can someone point it out for me. Just wanna know.

Well, that's because you have a misguided definition of "rice".
Rice does NOT mean that you put "Type-R" stickers or 13" high wings on your buick.

The true definition of rice is "The Image of speed". Now that's not to say that the car ISN'T fast. You could very well have a ricey car that whoops ass around town and runs 11's on the track. The negative definition of "rice" you're thinking of is what I like to call "Poser". Poser is Type-R stickers and GT-R badges on V6 Mustangs. Rice is anything that gives people looking at your car a hint that you're packin something more than a K&N filter under the hood.

hey you guys are right, thats smart thinking also. Man i want to get a 240sx but than i like the hatch, and the hatch looks nicer than a 240sx, but if the 240sx was converted into a silvia headlight, i would buy the 240sx. but right now, i just need to save gas for college and a nice ride is good enough. When i get rich enough, i'll buy a 240sx.

civic gsr, that 02 v spec is just a pipe dream away. just be glad you got a late model accord for your first car. my first car was an 86 celica st that me and my dad pulled out of his friend's back yard. it was a total pos. 1.6 ltr 8 valve, bad brakes, popped out of 2sd gear, and very little clutch = a slow unreliable pos. didn't even last a year. lost oil pressure and spun a bearing.

yes its dead, and heres my 2nd car. a 95 kia sephia. very fun little car. i had some great times in that little thing. it did get verrry bad body roll and wheel hope, but damn it was fun. i lost it on an icey road about 2 months ago but its not dead yet. i plan on making it into a dune buggy type thing. right now im in a 91 merc capi but in about 3 weeks i might have enough to but this 90 lumina from my dad ($800).
