Thats pretty good, consittering that you are a noob, and you are driving a powerfull car at the most tecnickly hard track in the game...!👍
 
awesome. remember: slow in, fast out. fast in, dead out. use that technique in all of your corners and you'll be smokin' hotlaps in no time!
 
Lol. Youre just starting its good. Once you practice more your level of widenesses will drop by 70% or so
 
Not bad for a neebie whn i first tried i was scared so i ended up usin a RX7 i was slidin everywhere final lap time for me 15:32.325:tdown: but hey now i can drive a 787B around with no probs. It takes pratice.

my first lap was also kinda bad...
I used a Subaru Impreza (OMFG!) of the 90s, surely enough, i got a perfectly executed fail at a time of 12 minutes
 
thanks for all of the comments guys but the car i used was only about 330hp and the only reason i didnt choose a 200hp car or something like that is because i dont like slow cars and i was gona go for a FWD but understeer like hell ( and before you say turn the understeer aid on i dont like using aids for mycars ) but this car i used was good BTW i turned all the aids off

Yeah good choice of a car, my first car was a SS Comaro >.< was not a good choice. It was a 10 min lap >.<

Yeah i sucked... Cause i ndidnt no the lap or racing srats.. LOL
 
:D . . . today I did a lap in my original Volvo 240GLT on comfort tires in 10'57.320 . . . . and boy this car has some serious power/weight/grip/handling issues . . :crazy: . . so I would say 8'50something with the MB isn't great . . but hey . . keep trying . . and maybe with a slower car first . . even if you don't like em . . seems that you can't handle the fast ones yet . . ;)

I pulled 09`11.542 with stock Trueno on N2`s(aids off),try that car for learning,it is easy to control,when you master it,go to the bigger cars!👍

EDIT: Just did 10`13.40 with Volvo(N2`s,Aids Off),it is a good car for his weight,i did not liked the HP and weight,but i liked the brakes:tup:
 
my first thought is it sucked. but then, I played all 3 GT games before this... and I never had a "first lap" per-say, I jumped in the license tests before I knew the track existed! yes, I was surprised, and had no idea what/where this track came from, but I knew it was an amazing thing. I also swore I'd never be able to learn the whole track.
Now I can take an '01 Civic with 212hp on N2's to the tune of 8:42 whoo-ha!
 
i see u was using super hard tires, the Nurburgring can be a hard track but when u practice and practice u will know how the corners are and how to approach them.
 
Nice big pictures there - very easy on the eye.

Thats a very powerful car you choose there for your first outing at the nurburgring, it is very easy to go wide loads of times on your first lap, so i am not surprised to see half of your pictures with the car acting like a cow and eating grass.

I beleive my fist car was the midget II but in cant remember my time, all i do remember is I hardly had to use the brake pedal atall!

i wouldnt even try to drive that hunk of junk it is so slow ( i have hardly any patience with slow cars lol )
 
my first lap was incomplete - I thought words to the effect of 'i've had enough of this'. The seccond lap was slow, but i was just learning where it went.
 
My first lap was in project gotham 2, so by the time i raced on it in GT4 i was already used to it :P, anways, nice lap time. Did you just get GT4?
 
the first day i got this i went straight on the 'ring' and got 6:44:xxx in one of the JGTC skylines... I recently got 6:38 in the Opel Touring Car... still go off quite a bit on some corners, but most I'm fine with, very tricky course to master for a n00b so under 10mins is good for your first lap:)
