Mmmmm.....late model RX-7, my dream car. *stuck in a 94*

Anyway, Im not gonna comment on the "colored" version, but I will for the line art. Only draw the necessary lines, you dont need to draw over the cars shades and highlights, that just ruins the whole look of the piece. Secondly, dont draw with point to point line set, always, I repeat, ALWAYS use bezeir curve. Thats how you get your nice, smooth angles and not those sharp, jagged angles.
Also, I see that you dont want to do the tires and rims. I say, dont worry about the tires, just do the rims. The tires will be connected with the cars shadow and will be all black with just the shape and color of the tire to let you know its there. I pull it off all the time, so can you.

Look forward for my tutorial, you all will be enlightened. :D

Just because you don't think it looks good with all the reflections doesn't mean he should change it. I'm sure if he agreed with your adive then he would have used your advice. Let people do it how ever they want. Also, like he said, he rushed it.

Not trying to start anything with you, just saying.

No one thinks it looks good with black outlined reflections.
Whoever said you were supposed to do that is a nimrod. And now people read that tutorial thinking thats the right way to go about it and its not.

But then when people read your tutorial they will think thats the ONLY way to do it and we will keep seeing the same thing over and over again. Atleast we are seeing differen't attempts at this.

heh just cos u are the master at it it doesnt mean other people methods look ****e! i think that looks pretty impressive i could never achieve anything that good! but that doesnt mean that if i try it i wont try that method and after reading your selfish comments i probably wont try YOUR method!:p

I make it clear in my tutorial that its my style. But I really dont want people learning my style, so its mostly gonna just be basics. Thats if I even finish it. I dont want a million people with art lookin just like mine.

what the hell, im sorry it dosent look like the way you want it to. I personally like the black outlines, but I wont change my art because a select group of people dont like it.

The black outlines are fine, but you shouldnt do it over highlights and shades. How hard is that to understand people? I dont care what you do, just throwin out pointers here.

You said its your first time, so you need pointers on how to improve unless you want to always have a first time looking outcome. You gotta learn how to do rims and tires sometime, gotta learn to shade and highlight yourself sometime, gotta learn headlights sometime. You gotta learn to find your own style sometime.
And you people gotta learn to stop getting pissed off at people who are trying to help. I get paid to do this stuff, you would think I have some valid points. Right? Damn.

Telling me its the wrong way to do it?? I dident know there was a wrong or right way. Thanks for the pointers but I'm gonna do what looks good in my eyes.

ok, I just got pissed because I was busy reading others comments but I see that your trying to help, thanks. But saying that whoever said the cartoons look good with black outlines is a nimrod when numerous people do like them like myself.
