Oh, you mean I could have quoted all three in one post.
That's what you meant. Right?
I'm still getting used to the way forums work. I've been a member for 5 months and I just got rid of my new member status today, so you can tell I don't post that much.

Anyway, Sorry:(

naw, thats fine just givin some advice.
yeah i know its a bit of a pain in the ass to put all three quotes in one post

My brother came up with this solution for side supports. Rope tied really tight from the edges to the wood on bottom. It works really well. Barely any movement now at all. Woohoo!:D

dangerous:confused:, what like it might collapse and crush them:lol:

I"m kaing one of these in shop class, however mine will have the tv sitting up right behind the stearing wheel, instead of the tv sitting a couple feet away.

Don't be jealous;) j/k
But seriously, it was unstable after I added the new wheel and before I put the rope on. Now it is solid though. I used really thick brackets on it so I wouldn't be unsure when I am playing.
It's in no way dangerous!

hehe ok picture can be decieving :trouble:
BTW i really like that whole pedal thing... the silver parts looks very cool looks like a go-kart keep it up ;)

Sorry I had to take the original pic down. There was some stuff in there that shouldn't have been in there. Here it is again.

drifty, I've seen your setup over on 240sxforums you should update your post over there with pics of your new wheel. I'm not a fan of how high the wheels are though, and it seems like they point down towards the drivers stomach rather than up at the drivers chest. still, I'm sure it's more stable than my setup is. I'm almost 100% sure that the TV tray is more rickety now than it was 2 months ago. Maybe I need like a strut bar underneath to give it more rigidty...

Dori, I had that same exact setup (with the little fold-out snack table) before I built my rig. I know what you mean by it getting ricketty;)

Streetfighter, Thank you so much for making me that little avatar of my cat man. You touched a drifters heart:( :D

Thanks for the replies guys. Joining the GTP community definitly fueled my motivation to make it. Has the most nice people on here than any other forums, IMHO.:)

The guys in the gt3 drifting forums helped me out a ton with my drifting too;)

As soon as I get enough posts in I'm going to put up that avatar. Thanks again StreetFighter.

Yeah.. But i might have to look for a new desk, the seat/pedals might not be working the way i want so... Just moved and everything so things arent really in place yet but ill update it as it goes. :)

just thought i'd ask, seeing how i'm seeing all these pics of it........how do you guys play ps2 on your computers? i wanna do that but i never knew how.

......in wait of the seat.. Sooooon it will be done. :)

I hate you so much. I'll try and get a digitial camera to get a pic of my ghetto setup... It's sturdy, weights like 80 lbs, and is currently still a work in progress, but at least it works

TV tuner cards give crap resolution and half the frame rate a television has.
I don't even see a PS2 in the picture.

Who said anything about a TV-Tuner? :D

Look behind the wheel for the PS2.. And the two controllers on the left shelf..

The desk itself weights somewhere around 145 KG... Dont know what it is in Pound..
And dreadfist, my setup might not work at all the way i want..
