ATI Radeon 9800 All In Wonder.

Edit: And the picture is better on this then on my "ordinary" TV. Plus it saves me a h*ll of a moving of the PS2 when recording movies...

drifty, I've seen your setup over on 240sxforums you should update your post over there with pics of your new wheel. I'm not a fan of how high the wheels are though, and it seems like they point down towards the drivers stomach rather than up at the drivers chest. still, I'm sure it's more stable than my setup is. I'm almost 100% sure that the TV tray is more rickety now than it was 2 months ago. Maybe I need like a strut bar underneath to give it more rigidty...

I have the same table that you've got your wheel mounted on.:p

lol, there are SOO many people that have that friggen table! I've heard it from like 6 people now or something.

VipFREAK: yeah, the padding under my ass is so mashed in it doesn't even feel padded anymore. My butt is numb as we speak...I gotta get some sleep. Hella lot of GT3 playing to do tomoroow! :D

I have that table, so does my grandma, and my best friend. I don't use it for my steering wheel because I don't use my steering wheel at all. I swear this chair sucks ass now, I think it's actually hurting me more than helping now... :irked:

BAZZ: I have the ATi 9600XT, but I was supposed to get the ASUS one with S-Video In. Instead they shipped me an ATi one which only supported S-Video Out. Before I found this out, I scratched my Halflife 2 voucher, then read that I can't return or exchange the video card after revealing the HL2 cd-key.
:banghead:

Lol I have the same setup as that, except a different chair. I put weights on my table because I got scared when people almost toppeled the tray over when steering.

Yeah man, you caught me. that's funnyBecause when i took the picture I was wondering if I should retake the picture so the xbox isn't in it. My brother just gave it to me for my birthday. I didn't ask for it but I'm not going to reject it. The Clone wars game it came with isn't too bad. Pretty decent multiplayer mode.

PS2 rules!
what about the hooka, you know you can tell a lot from that thing:trouble:

The whole reason I wanted the s-video In feature is because there is nothing I hate more than the sound of a television.

I even bought a TV tuner card, "ohh turn your monitor into a high definition television!" to deal with my video card's lack of s-video in, but even the s-video feature with my s-video PS2 cable looks like 320x240 resolution with 30 frames per second.

So... that was not appropriate. The only reason I kept it was so I could record things from my PS2 because I now have it set up so I'm using my television instead of my monitor. Ok get this.. now my video card is crapping out and I don't know what I did or how to fix it, so I officially HATE ATi.

I've been trying to sell my 9600XT and my 9200 for a while. What is the GeForce FX equivilant to the 9600XT with s-video in?

Must be nice to live alone, my GFU would kill me if I tried to put that in the living room.

I would tilt the steering wheel mounting plate up a bit so the sheel wasnt pointed down.

Alone? lol if you had any idea how much i have been kissing her *** for permission to get a racing seat inside.. Women...

I'm moving in with my GF within the next couple of months and she Wants me to bring the seats with me. How's that for lucky huh? She has a 10 year old son and he can't wait either. Keeps asking when the seats are coming. lol. Dosen't care whem I'm moving in:rolleyes:

The old wheel(DF) is at a 90 degree angle to the floor but the new one(DFP) is just a wee bit past 90 degrees. That's because I built it before I got the new wheel and didn't figure on the DFP having a different angl than the DF. All aroung though it is massive fun to play. I do wish there was more people to compete with in my neighborhood though. Everyone I know loves GT3, but sucks a$$ at it.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback and I can't wait to meet up with everyone in the GT4 community online when it comes out.:D

Do you have any rally games? A co-driver sitting in the other seat would be rich!

its not just because its british or japanese or whatever, most race cars tend to have their steering wheel on the right hand side
