My lounge: some of my friends don't see other friends on track???

As a host I can see all of them.

Some can see also all of them but few of them don't see each other...

Any clues??

Will it help reducing the race quality level???

I can say I have had the same problems in a few races. But not anymore. Think it might have to do with the routersettings, you both need to have some ports open. Think it is called UnPn..?

And how do you do this? is it via the PC/router menu?

Are there any settings to adjust in PS3 or GT5?

The GT5 manual (in-game) has instructions on which ports to forward. I was looking last night and remember seeing that. The manual also explains the Star and Mesh network connections and the differences between them. NAT type is important as well and is addressed in the manual.

I also had this same problem, I joined a friends lounge and there was one guy I could not see and he could not see me. The host of the lounge could see us both, though. We tried leaving and rejoining, but nothing happened.

Pretty sure you need to have a NAT Type 2 connection. This helped a lot in the COD games
