Very Cool. How is that sim seat? Is it sturdy and what does it cost?

That's awesome! But whats the point of having 3 Xboxs and PS3s?

It is an extremely sturdy rig and very versatile. Everything on the rig is adjustable except the shifter arm.
$800 shipped w/o seat
$1k even with seat

That's awesome! But whats the point of having 3 Xboxs and PS3s?

So I can use my triple panels with Gran Turismo and Forza.

love that screen , good and clean setup, and most important of all. cool wall color

Thanks Hwangm
No lie, the favorite part of the room for me is the color. I had a hard time choosing what tone I wanted. When I saw the name "Steel Blue" I was sold.

good choice man, I would love to have that color for my wall. thank you for sharing them.👍👍👍

There aren't any job openings at your place of employment is there? I need to make that kind of cash, LOL.

What is that in the left corner? Looks like a sub of some sort, not familiar?

1 to play and 2 to put in the freezer in case the other breaks down :dunce::dunce::dunce:

He has got a triple screen setup so if he wants to take advantage of it he needs the 3 consoles.

The VRC 1000 (its called 1000 because it costs 1000 dolares:crazy::D) doesnt seem to have adjustment for pedal inclination (degrees) other than that it seems to be a great rig, congrats ;)

It is an SVSound sub. They only made a limited amount of them. It is 4 12" high excursion drivers quad ported that I power with a 5000 watt amp and Rane Pro Equalizer to even out the peaks and nulls. It is crazy powerful and goes clean down to 10hz.

very nice set up and the blue steel color is beautiful but for total inmersion the walls should be flat black

I know about color for immersion, my first love is HT, but the last thing I wanted was all black walls. Even in my theater which is the next room over from my game room I used flat burgundy. The ceilings in the theater are flat black.

I wanted something that would pop since its a game room. When you turn the lights off the immersion level is through the roof. I usually race with the lights off. This area of my basement has no windows so there if nothing is on you literally can not see your hand in front of your face. With that level of darkness you can get by with colors like these as long as they are flat.

Remember, these shots you are seeing is with my flash on. Its not the color in it's truest form. Its actually a few shades darker. I will take one without the flash and post it later.

Very nice setup, i have a samsung UE55D7000 and i'm working on something simular only with two 46" lcds on the side.

The zoom feature let's me adjust the picture size on the 46" to match the one on the 55".

Loving that thin bezel in the tripplescreen setup.

LOL 3 46 samsungs and 3 xboxes and 3 ps3, man I guess it is really hot in there when you play :)

You must be totally wet after an hour of play time

By the way your set up looks great.

very nice setup you have there.
by the way - were you able to solve your problem with the ps2 to rj11 cable ?

I tried making one and I couldn't get it to work right.
Fanatec is sending me one. They shipped it out yesterday.
I am using my TH8 RS shifter for now and sticking to the PC until it gets here. In a few weeks I will be running my TH8 RS shifter on the consoles as well. I am waiting on an interfaceone board. I cant wait to play Forza 4 and GT5 with my TH8.

Awesome man, nice rig!

Could you tell me the distance you have between the wheel and the seat?

I'm not sure how to answer this since it varies. I am always making adjustments depending on the style of racer I am playing. So what I did was measure the seat at it's furthest and closest point to and from the wheel.

26" furthest point
14" closest point
I got on the rig an adjusted the seat to what feels about right for me and I sit 20" from the wheel but these measurements are wheel to empty seat. My chest to wheel distance is 12". Hope this helps.

:dopey: Wowy! Now how much did you invest in sound deadning for the room?

Very nice setup, just seems like you've got to slide your rig towards the screens 2-3 ft. so your periphial vision is covered.

I moved the rig a foot closer today. It's like 3D, I am taking it in small doses so my eyes can adjust to it. The displays are mounted to articulating mounts. I am going to tilt them in towards me more as I adjust to it as well.

My game room doesn't have sound proofing in the ceiling. My theater, the next room over, does. Nobody uses the room directly above the game room (formal living room), so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

If it becomes one? I will just have to do to the game room what I did my theater. Shouldn't take more than a few days to complete.

Really nice setup. 👍 I got the same thing as you. To bad its only the wall color.

That was great. LOL!

Really clean setup though think you could be sitting a bit closer, maybe.
Those TVs only have a 5mm frame/border. I have read that smaller borders also help improve the 3D effects with not having a distracting large frame surrounding the image.

Curious have you tried each TV set to 2D-3D conversion mode and play in triple screens?
Maybe the glasses wont all sync to each screen but be great to hear how you get on and test this.

Like the cockpit too real nice.

Very nice set up, kudos to you. I see you have the triple consoles going but how about PC? Do you have 2 video cards for triple screen iRacing or other PC titles?

I moved the rig a little over a foot closer. Its hard to adjust to being so close on such a big display. The more I adjust to it the closer I will move the rig. I haven't tried 3D on these displays yet. I have two other 3D displays and I dont use that feature much.

What do you guys think the optimal seating distance should be to t x 46" displays?

Yes I have 2 x GTX 590 Classifieds.
