Logitech DFGT.....built a stand out of wood, added a little carpet, and some vinyl on the top. Scored a free office chair from work and voila!!!! 👍

Neat. Are the pedals comfortable that close? You could make a simple stand to angle them up, and then extend the carpet out a bit further in front, and get the geometry a little more life like.

Well, I am 6'3" and that pedal placement is pretty good. The base is too long to angle it up IMO. I know the G27 pedals are pretty good in that you can take them apart and mount them the opposite direction (ie hanging down). Now that would rock....

I think the G27 pedals work with this wheel however....I have seen them on eBay for a decent price...who knows?

Wait, you can use the G27 pedals with the DFGT?
That just completely revises what I'm going to do with my birthday cash. :)

That's what I am asking.....I thought I read that they would work. There is a G27 shifter and pedal set for $69 on eBay.....Thinking about something like that.

The thought is that you can take the pedals apart (ala Chilicoke) and reverse them so they function like real pedals! That would be awfully slick IMO....

If you have not seen his incredibly bad ass setup, go to youtube and search for chilicoke.....you will see all of his mods...pretty impressive.

A couple of guys have spliced G27 pedals to work with DFGT, obviously without the clutch, but it is something you would only do if you had a set of G27 pedals lying around without a wheel, because the G27 wheel is a lot better than DFGT.

I would still recommend angling up your DFGT pedals and moving them forward, so you could have the wheel a little closer, but it's a matter of personal preference. I had both my DFGT pedals and G27 pedals angled up, and I find it much more realistic, plus I didn't have to blow the warranty!
