Except for the fact that I responded to it... And it's km/h not mph... D'oh! But there's a reason why it should be that number, so the same number should be acheivable in mph.

Doesn't it freeze when you get to a certain number Famine? I think i've seen a pic somewhere around GTP.

Aww...thanks. :)

I believe it does - there's something about the number of digits used to display speed and distance. If they'd used a digit less in the code, the maximum distance it would be possible to travel would be something stupidly low like 1000km (or miles - regional variations), so they had to use another digit. I believe the absolute maximum is 2.4 billion something, but I'm not terribly up with coding.

It's like Amino Acids - if they were coded for by just 2 bases, we'd only have 16 possible combinations - but there are 21 amino acids... They're coded for by 3 bases, giving 64 combinations - enough for every amino acid to have at least one unique code.

Or something.... :D

found that out as well at 800 +++ top speeds , an impossible to handle on turns on two wheels

My actual top speed is around 450kph on the test track. Can't remember what in, but it was around there.

Using the wheelie trick, i've done around 1300 something kph. :D I was so proud of that :D.

So were you able to record a replay of your wheelie trick? Cause there arent any posted here at this site of the wheelie trick, the nerve of peeps callin an escape from the trac doin a wheelie, in order to do a wheelie two wheels gotta be on the pavement, not stuck in the mud bud

1300 kph is like 600 mph yes ?

I have a video of a wheelie here.

Now thats a wheelie, you done good, sparks an all... An I thought 265 mph was all there was to be got, until I came to this site an found ways to up that... Just last night I finally broke the 600 mph mark. Haven't found a tranny to take that 434,330 hp yet

what was the hp of your GT. My 434K hp Viper makes that same noise at the start line .... My Vipers tranny cant handle all that hp, gets up to 490 mph by the first turn drops to 350 around the turns, then down the back stretch it hits 640...

1200 mph on the backstretch huh ? Now thats a wheelie, I knew it could be done yet havent seen it. This *escape Seattle*, is not a wheelie, so in my opinion any speeds of 2.4 billion are bogus if the freakin cars floatin in air.

Under other stuff, subtitle .... Gran Tursimo Series... Getting a GT3 car to go the speed of light

Cant remember the hp but it was just maxed GT-ONE Race Car not a hybrid.
And the speed is km/h...

My most powerful hybrid is 600bhp 4WD Yaris RS :D. A lovely car to drive.

do you have the basecodes for that GT ? you mean 6,000 bhp on your car yes? 600bph seems a tad low Been tryin to get my Diablo up on two wheels, youd think with 435,789 hp would be enough, but the gears are screwy

I'm using MK's to make hybrids so don't have to use any codes.

And yes my 4WD Yaris is only 600bhp as I aim for handling and acceleration not top speed. And I need only 2000bhp or less to get that Yaris on two wheels.

I can take a short clip of it when I get a new capture card...

So whats the lo down on your Gt ? ini file for that GT, the specs, like to get my Diablo doin what your Gt can, chit I'd just like to get the top end near 1000 mph, the wheelie would be an bonus, which tranny are ya usin to take the horse power

It's just a normal GT-ONE Race Car with stage 4 turbo and wheelie setting which I can't remember now.
Nothing fancy in the ini-file.

I haven't tried to make any hybrids for top speed...

And with that Yaris I'm mostly using Corolla WRC parts.

How did ya get that GT-One to spark on the tarmac ? My Viper won't spark when its up on two wheels... And I'm 400 shy of your 1,800 mph top end... Care to share a few of your secrets ?

was wondering, bein that you are in Finland an I am in the States your ini files are different than mine would be here, yes or no

No, it's not different. Just change the EU to US and you can import it to MK's...

tried to get the other two Vipers up in that speed range, best I could get was 400 mph with those two.... The Viper I did build went up on two wheels at 460 mph an stayed there til let off the gas

Well I say this again.

It's just a fully modded Toyota GT-ONE Race Car with wheelie settings. I'll see if I can find the settings.
And the speedometer in my video is km/h not mph... ;)

So that translates to what in mph from km/h I hated learnin my Metric conversions

Besides you have the vid of the wheelie theres no disputin that, dont get me wrong, at least your car had two wheels on the tarmac, that other bozo that claims to be going 2.4 billion doesnt mean chit if the cars flyin in outer space, beam me up Scottie

Escape from Seattle indeed
