Mythbusters will be testing something that has appeared on Top Gear before: is there really a car that's more aerodynamic backwards than forwards. And to do it, they'll get two of the same car and one of them, they'll unbolt the body, turn it around and bolt it back on. Sounds like something the Top Gear boys would do.
 
Watching right now. They're not exactly using the car I expected though. I always thought the myth was a Ford Pinto or Austin Allegro or something, but I guess the shape is similar.
 
BUSTED! The Porsche 928 isn't more aerodynamic backwards than forwards.

I was disappointed by the tests they did to "prove" this. They didn't seem to really nail it.

And yes, it's the Austin Allegro that actually is more aerodynamic backwards.
 
Yeah, they might have to revisit it with a different car. They did say there were several cars that were accused of it. Didn't Top Gear mention the Princess was guilty of this?
