Oh god. To mention Nascar 09 in a forum dedicated to the GT series is like mentioning the original Wolfenstein 3D in a forum dedicated to Modern Warfare.

You seemed to have missed the NFS thread too since thats also here. I'm guessing you hated the game (much as many NR2003 fans do) which is understandable, but look at what has been posted here. That was the main draw of the game (at least for me).

Ok, in hindsight maybe that was a bit harsh. Days of Thunder was a truly fantastic movie that showcased the utter THRILL and SPECTACLE of Nascar racing whilst also delivering superb performances from Cruise, Kidman & co. The drama...the REALISM of going round and round and round the same track for what seems like hours on end.......zzzzzzzzzzz
See where I'm going here?

Does anyone know how to raise the difficulty of the AI? It is on hard but i am killing them and i am not even that good of a driver. I am like on pole every week and i dominate at Watkins Glen and Daytona. How cant i make this happen?

@seals1: Have you turned off all the aids, including the Qualifying Assist?(thats probably why you are on pole at every track).

But there was in 05. Is there a monkey in charge of ea or something

Must be because after the NASCAR Thunder series, its gone downhill ever since.

Yes i have turned everything off. Does the difficulty range from sprint cup to nationwide?

Its pretty much the same.

Also, it doesn't look like there is a way to make the Ai faster. Essentially, you'll just always be better then them.
