The 17 might have got up on it's side but I don't think it went over.

And Harvick is on fire and has no brakes. Someone tell him to put the thing in the grass, ffs.

14 cars are left in this race. Harvick is going to make it back as he's being trailed by the crash truck.
 
I like that guy on radio. "You're on fire" with no sense of urgency at all.
 
Jeff avoids his 3rd wreck of the weekend.
 
That crash looks a lot like the first one.

Also, Bayne isn't competing because wood brothers didn't prepare a car. You can be any age to participate, but you have to be 21 to pick a bottle for starting position.

Same scenario. Car in front causes 2nd car to slow down a bit and the car behind the 2nd car causes the spin.

Chain reaction and not much they can do about it racing that close.

Well Harvick did put out the fire on his own by just driving it around.

Yeah I thought that too. Saw it on two wheels but thankfully not.
 
The 17 would have flipped if Jr wasn't right there to bounce it off his hood.
 
Logano had participated in the shootout before turning 21. He was just not allowed to draw his starting position from a budweiser can/bottle. His crew chief drew his spot for him.

My guess is that the 21 team didn't want to risk their primary Daytona car in tonight's race. They are an underfunded part time team, after all.

NASCAR will think about raising the spoilers another increment or three...

...and they may look at reducing the left skew allowance for the body.

It may be that the 21 team has changed their stance on this race? They haven't ran it since 2008.
 
They shouldn't allow the bodies to be skewed at all.

Jeff couldn't get a run on Kyle just then. I guess Kyle throwing that block killed the momentum.
