"I parked into the parking lot, and it was clear. Then I entered the track, and it was raining. And then I noticed, the rain was only covering the track, nowhere else."

Someone got killed?

And go Gordon!
But Kyle is so good at Richmond. :(

Yes, someone was killed at Pocono this August. :(

This race will be down to the wire. Well, unless one of their engines blow (likely Gordon's) I foresee an intense battle.

Oh...:(

And yeah, it'll be a great race.

There was a nascar.com chase prediction percentage thing that I saw on Sportscenter eariler.

It had Jeff Gordon at 50.6%, Kyle Busch at 48.1% and Marcos Ambrose at the remaining percent. I could be off by a few tenths as I'm going off memory here as I couldn't actually find said nascar.com prediction. I'm not sure how those results were achieved, but Kyle's statistics show that he is the one with the best chance at clinching.

Also, speaking of Busch, Richard Childress said that he would put Kurt in a 4th car next season if a sponsor could be found.

Rain delay at the track. Looks like the skies are clear, but they will have to dry the track.

Is anyone else having issues with the sound on the broadcast?

Bristol: 3rd.
Atlanta: 2nd.
Richmond: 1st?

As much as I think he won't make The Chase, I believe that Gordon can grab another win tonight. I still think that Hamlin will be tonight's winner, but if not Hamlin, Gordon for sure.

I hope this race doesn't get stolen from Jeff like it did last year.

Just watch, if one of the Wild Card contenders is 2nd behind Jeff, that driver's teammate will spin out intentionally and start a caution.

2 laps to go, and then, on the last lap, Gordon gets passed, finishes 2nd or 3rd, and misses the Chase.

Not that I want that to happen, but the way Jeff's season has been... nah, he'll get in.

Gordon got the bonus point he needed early.

And Gordon has a terrible setup. Too loose.

He's not going to win it. I will be surprised if he does. Is it just me or does every Hendrick move to make the 88 better end up screwing up the 24?

Yep.

EDIT: Gordon gets screwed up on pit road every time.

Just imagine, the 88 will end up in first and he won't move over for the 24 yet the 24 will be vilified if he doesn't move over for the 88 if the tables were reversed.

Gordon probably lost some spots.

Edit: Nine positions.

Live Mas. Ragan wrecks.

Rain may come within the hour.

Damn. That blob of green on the radar's making a beeline for the track.

Fingers crossed, the rain will hold off.

At this point the only way that Gordon can make The Chase is by having Kyle Busch wreck and finish 13 or more positions behind Gordon, as well as denying anyone else in Wild Card contention from winning.

Won't happen. Not even Gordon's teammates will help him (which is ridiculous honestly).

The good:
The sound is working now.
The bad:
Gordon isin't looking good...

But Jr is doing very well.

Hamlin's got an awesome car.
Lot of cars look loose.
Is it just me or is Jr. letting Denny through? He passes by like Jr. is parked.

Probably thinks Hamlin needs the win, unlike Gordon

No, Junior is falling back just so he can help Jimmie Johnson get to the lead.[/sarcasm]

Jeff's car is a piece of crap!

Think so . The order of hierarchy at HMS.

1) JR
2) Johnson
3) Kahne
4) Danica
5) Gordon

Somehow, I could see this.

I think Kyle is in the chase...dammit.
He's the only one really running well in the bubble.
