What the hell happened? Hoping everyone is ok. Biggest wreck I've ever seen.
 
Kenseth wins. Gordon finished 2nd, Kyle Busch 3rd.

Essentially everybody but Gordon, Kenseth and Busch were involved
 
Stewarts car went into the drivers window corner of Menards from the heli cam view. Apologies if i'm wrong.
 
Waltrip did it. Decided to wreck ALL of his teammates too. What a team player 👍.
 
Thank goodness Tony's okay. SEVERAL moments in that wreck where that driver's compartment could've been crashed between two cars.
 
Can't blame him, when you get a room you either keep going and hope nothing bad happens or slow and get turned. 4x4x4x4 racing does not work usually.
 
How terrifying would that have been if it were 20 years ago. Stewart is lucky to be alive, and thankfully, he is.

I was amazed it worked that well for so long.

But a really scary crash gotta admit.

Crashes like those makes me wish we didn't have to race at Talladega. Then again, this is one of the few races that makes people notice NASCAR. Too bad it's for the wrong reasons. :indiff:
 
lotsa armchair racing in this thread. Do you think tony wanted to wreck? Do you think waltrip didnt try to slow down? Its called racing, it happens. Just be glad everyone was ok and stop acting like headless chickens.

I sensed sarcasm in his statement, and knowing Tony that wouldn't surprise me one bit. Crazy wreck, but i'm sure the real "fans" are satisfied :rolleyes:
 
A wild finish to a surprisingly competitive race! 👍 Glad everybody's okay after that massive wreck and congratulations to Matt Kenseth for winning.
 
3rd to 14th... Poor Kevin. Not like he had a chance of winning the chase anyways.

Lost 4 points on Kenseth (30 since New Hampshire)
Gained 18 on Dale Jr. (28 since New Hampshire)
Gained 9 points on Harvick (21 since New Hampshire)

Gained 4 points on Biffle (19 since New Hampshire)
Gained 12 points on Truex Jr. (17 since New Hampshire)
Gained 20 on Stewart (39 since New Hampshire)
Gained 21 on Bowyer (27 since New Hampshire)
Gained 10 on Kahne (24 since New Hampshire)
Gained 13 on Hamlin (19 since New Hampshire)
Gained 15 point on Johnson (17 since New Hampshire)
Gained 6 to Keselowski (2 since New Hampshire)

By looking at how much he's gained on everyone EXCEPT Brad Keselowski, that just shows how much of a mission the 24 Team is on to get that Sprint Cup. Brad will have at least one race ensued with bad luck and Gordon will no doubt pounce at the very opportunity and come within striking distance of that top spot! NEVER QUIT 24 TEAM!!!
