Pretty sure his was sarcasm.

Danica and Sam were not called to the NASCAR hauler.. so there might not be anything that comes from this. Or, NASCAR could have been busy with other interests to take immediate action.

That's why I said I'm pretty sure he's joking. I could be wrong though, was me just saying that trying to cover all bases.

Praying that Eric is all right. Definitely one of the hardest crashes I've seen.

I also say good job Danica for not letting Sam forget who he's messing with. He clearly could've avoided doing that to her. I don't condone intentionally wrecking anyone, but Sam wrecked her at high speeds when it could've been avoided. He got what he deserved and I'm sure he'll think twice before pulling that stuff on someone again.

I'm not a Danica fan but I'm getting tired of everyone picking on her for whatever reason. There are alot of worse drivers out there that don't get half of the criticism she gets. So she gets sponsorships and rides for whatever reason? So what. Let teams run their races the way they want with who they want.

If Sam would've pulled that crap on someone like Jeff Gordon or Jr most people would have a different opinion. But because it's Danica, it's ok for Sam to do it and Danica is terrible. (insert sarcasm face here).

Like Brian Vickers...Now that guy deserves crap flung at him :sly:

Finally had a chance of catching the whole race. Poor McClure. I'm glad he's still with us, but I worry if he has any spinal injuries. :nervous:

As for Hornish vs Danica, Hornish had said his right front was going down coming off of four and when he hit the tri-oval, it wouldn't turn. Not sure if that's what really happened, but the video on NASCAR.com does point in that direction.

Well I didnt dvr for.long enough. Pissed Joey won, as the McClure wrecked was caused by him.

Exactly how? Joey can't see whats infront of the car thats pushing so did he cause that? Micheal pretty much explained he had a big run going and went for a whole that closed up. That was a situation where it was 2 laps to go and everyone was going for it and if he would have backed out of it, still would've caused a big wreck. Can't see how you can put all the blame on one driver.

Just looking for someone to blame for me not seeing the end of the race, and the fact that he's a Gibbs car just fires me up.

I really thought I was the only guy who felt that way. Jimmie must be depressing to interview.

Well - pretty uplifting rendition of the anthem to start.. . .

This race is going to be . . Gentlemen! Cool your jets! Overheating is a strong factor here - esp when pushing.

The weather did play a factor in delaying the start, but FOX had an hour long pre-race show scheduled anyway.

Almirola quickly demonstrated what happens when you don't keep your enemies closer. Leaving the train is not always a wise move. Seems like he lost control of the car for a moment, though.

I think the most reliable thing about Talladega is Ryan Newman getting caught up in a wreck. :boggled:

Well, it wasn't a wreck, but he looks to be done for today.

Why are Kahne's spotters never able? Again a spotter problem.

And now . . . mid-game strategies.

Jeff is up front. :)

Next thing you know, however...
