Allmendinger, Newman, Harvick... its crazy...

I feel sorry for his sponsors Shell Pennzoil.

Switched from Penske from the 29 of Harvick who is the undisputed best RCR car in 2011 and was a Chase contender to Kurt Busch.
Kurt Busch ends up being fired by his team and gets very bad press and publicity in 2011.

And now this...

Budweiser must be laughing after they left Richard Petty for Harvick last year.

Hornish is scheduled to land at Daytona at 7:25. That gives him plenty of time to get to the track, considering the airport is practically at the track.

If he drives then he might actually do decent for once, since he's in Newman's car.

Still not going to happen, same with Kenny Wallace if he drives. I cannot see either doing real good. Honestly, poor choices for stand-ins.

This is restrictor plate race, a 43rd place car can easily be a top 5 car.

I wonder if the 22 will still read AJ Allmendinger above the window net tonight.

Still, he'll be straight outta the plane into the car. Talk about a mad dash!

You can't get any more undiscrete at hiding another driver's name than this.

Oh wait, talk of the devil.

They're using the NASCAR 09 picture

Edit: Sam has just landed.

Sam Hornish Is in the car, he will be able to start the race :D

That radio issue with Kyle was defening. That would drive me up the wall if I was listening to that for laps on end.

Jeff Gordon is catching up. :D

Awesome Bill is falling back. :(

Hmmm, 160 Laps. That would leave the halfway mark at Lap 80.

73 laps in and no cautions yet. What is this, Fontana?

Sideways Sam brings out the first caution.

EDIT: Action on pit road. Gordon and Newman make contact and Newman spins!

They didn't see that coming-together live as it happened? It happened while it faded out.

EDIT: Sorry for doublepost. Used to this going faster.

EDIT 2: GORDON'S GOT HIS MOJO BACK! GO GORDON!

Pepsi - Twenty-Four

Coke - Zero

About time Jeff reaches the podium positions tonight. I thought he would stick behind around the 15th-10th positions. Though I better not jinx him or get my hopes up.
