Back on topic: I won't be watching the race tomorrow. I have to admit that this year I have come less and less interested in NASCAR as a whole.

So no one has to watch 160 laps of torture tomorrow and make the top NASCAR executives and their sponsors any richer, I predict Jimmie Johnson will win in a similar fashion to last week by ripping the field apart. :dopey: 💡 If us NASCAR fans are disappointed with the lack of competition, we should speak out once and for all by slowly draining their grossly overstuffed pockets; first by not paying extortionist rates for tickets and concessions at the tracks, which a lot of people have already done; second, stop watching the live race coverage on TV which is 5 minutes of racing followed by 4 minutes of commercials. We need to show NASCAR that the direction they are taking the sport in is the wrong one.

And Elliot Sadler gets the win in Nationwide! (yay for only being able to watch the last 5 laps).

Caught the last few laps of the Nationwide race. Nice to see one with few to no Cup drivers interfering. Just the way it should be.

I'm already regretting Terrornium's generosity

ON TOPIC: Hopefully next year I will go back to a NASCAR race, I haven't been since 2007 at Watkins Glen (The year Montoya and Harvick had a scuffle in Turn 1). I'm hoping to go to either New Hampshire or Richmond

I haven't gone since 2010 (Pocono, forgot which one but I believe it was the August race). No friends will go with me :(.

Hell yeah, Sadler got the win 👍 Try to take that one, NASCAR.

Didn't see the Nationwide race. Good to hear Sadler got redemption after being robbed of the win last week.

Just caught a replay of the truck race. Extremely pleased to see Joey Coulter in victory lane. 👍

The Tricky Triangle is about to blow your mind today. Yours and... about, uh... 43 other stock car drivers. Good luck to all drivers and teams at Pocono for the Cup race. Be safe, have fun, and drive hard.

Unless "blow your mind" means "Its raining and the track is wet!", my mind hasn't been blown.

If you would have said that prior to the spring race, I'd agree. Judging by the comments here, no one here will feel that way today. Maybe next week.

NASCAR continues to allow annoying pop singers to perform the national anthem. Give me an army band any day.

I overslept this morning and expected the race to be half over. Should've known better that it always rains at Pocono.

With the new cars coming next year, you expect better racing. Knowing NASCAR, it will probably make the racing much more boring.

Or the epic Guitar man.

It'll be interesting for the first few races just because the new car wonder (Like most series usually have, particularly Grand-Am and Indycar right now).
Novelty will wear off by the 4th race.

Who here is sick of guys like Nemechek and Skinner start-and-parking? If you are going to enter the race, actually race! Did I forget to mention that the higher you finish, the more money you get to fund your race team?

You do realize that these guys don't have sponsors, which means they can't afford the tires to run for longer than they do, right?

Then what's the point of entering in the first place? If you can't run the whole race, don't run it at all. If I recall correctly, in some races, both of the guys I mentioned (Nemechek, Skinner) had sponsors, yet they only ran for about 10-20 laps before heading into the garage. How pointless. I know the economy sucks, but when you get sponsors, you reap all of the benefits that you can, and that means getting stuff like tires, fuel, a pit crew, etc.

Ken Schrader runs for an underfunded team, yet he runs the whole thing nearly all of the time, though finishing a few laps down. That's what all of the "start-and-park" teams should do.

If you don't have enough equipment, don't show up at the track. Simple as that.

Even last place pays money. Chill out man, whats it matter to you anyways.

What happened to Kyle?

Flat left rear tire on lap 18 (what an odd coincidence) put him into the turn 1 wall.

Also sucks that Jr. broke the transmission. Looks like he had the car to beat today for the win.

Which only pays enough to start-and-park once again.

What happened to Kyle?

Hit the wall on lap 18/19. (tree'd by Porsche)

And once again, Johnson's car is the fastest. Same as every week.
