Your quote missed the bit where I said "I'm around level 36 in B-Spec". It doesn't matter if you hit level 30 A-Spec or B-Spec, the challenge will unlock when you hit the required level. I unlocked it with B-Spec.

Ahh, I see. I knew that one received the x1 when they reached Bspec 35 but I didnt know the challenge unlocked too. I reached A Spec 30 before I reached my Bspec 35 so couldnt figure it out.
 
Reading this thread, it just occured to me that the Nascar Challenge was the point where I lost interest in the game, A Spec races at least.

Not offering any opinions on the challenge itself. This is just an observation...
