Anyone else think this was easy? I did it first time with the Toyota Camry (Red Bull one) with full down force and gearing set 2 points below default. Had a blast doing it though! Really enjoyable.

I've silvered or golded all the seasonal races so far. I just ran this for the first time and was 30 seconds off of 11th place. Maybe it's because it was 4am, but no, it's not easy. I congratulate you on your uber skills though.

1. This was not not stroke my ego. I feel that the weighting of the difficulty levels on all the seasonal races is up and down. The seemingly easier ones being harder than the ones you would deem more difficult.
2. I dont consider myself player with "uber skills" as you described it. Im an average player who enjoys the game very much.
3. If you read the post you would notice the small description of the setup I used to help me win. Try it instead of being all weird. Chances are you probably will ace it next time round.

Haven't won this one yet but I did finally get second! I know there was alot left on the track, but it's just hard to put together decent laps with the NASCAR cars. They just want to slide all over the place. But it is a heck of alot of fun trying to keep it under control! 👍

Yes, it is way too easy but that's good. Easy money & XP, I just won by 17 seconds and that included 2 spinouts costing me around 15-16 seconds I reckon. Nothing to do with 'ego stroking' just a fact, although I guess it will be harder for some than others depending on how well they know the track and car's ability.

I found that you dont lose that much top end on the straight by lowing your final gear. I topped out at 215 which was enough to draft other cars with, but enough to keep them at bay too.

I did it in a Ford full DF and dropped the gear 3 clicks

Piece of cake actually even though I did go off in the grass a time or two and had a bit of an issue passing one of the cars I still was able to overtake Gordons car about 1/4 down the long straight the first time out. I was a bit surprised after going off track a few times I thought I would have to try again. I almost hit restart but decided to finish and see where I was was. I guess 1st will do

VERY easy event. Nailed it by about 20 seconds in front of 2nd.

But the one with Ford Focus is driving me crazy ... can't beat it.

I managed 5th first go with full downforce and gearing lowered, but seem to have hit a brick wall and can't go any quicker. It's taking me till about 2:30 into the first lap before I am even near the 11th car. Car just seems to have a mind of it's own most of the time, sometimes it won't turn in at all, others seems to dive into the corner and then try to spit me out over the grass.

Between this and the Mini one I think they are massively beyond my ability level with the game. Haven't tried any of the other Bonus 2's as yet.

Tried it twice with Skid recovery off, it's definately possible, came 2nd the first try and I was well on my way to first when I spun off on the main straight somehow during the first lap of try 2. But I don't really enjoy the NASCAR's so I got angry and turned skid recovery on. Won by 16-17 seconds if i remember right.

Using max downforce and transmission set to about 360km/h, everything else stock settings.

Yup, it's 2 laps of Nurburgring Nordschliefe starting in 12th and playing catchup to a lead car that is 50 seconds ahead.

I'm going to try this event in about an hour or so. I tried it earlier and the car felt slippery and I couldn't do a thing with it. If anyone is interested I posted some tips for the Focus race.

You should sail through this one if you use the assists Acheron recommended, I found it much easier than the Focus race.

I did it without aids in 3 attempts. It was really hard for me to overtake and stay on track.

After like 5 restarts, I got 4th with assists. Lost to first by 3 seconds. It hard getting the nascar to follow the road. I think I need the AMG Driving Academy.

I just won, by a very very very large margin.

I turned a first lap of 6:30.671 which was good enough to be 9 seconds back and 4th place.
My 2nd lap was alot slower, 6:40.709 a full 10 seconds slower. One would think that it could be the nail in the coffin, but I won by a whopping 23.688 SECONDS. The AI is not very aggressive at the 'Ring, as I took the lead just slightly after trap 2 on the 2nd lap.

My settings:

TC 1
Skid Recovery On
Active Steering Mild
ABS 1

Top Speed was 236 MPH but it could probably be lowered because the car doesn't get past 215-220 on the straight.

Full Downforce

I messed around with the LSD a bit for fun and I found this to be ideal

Initial Torque 0/30
Acceleration 0/60
Braking 0/5.

The car requires at least one wheel on the pavement at almost all times (yet the shortcut right before trap 3 can be taken, you need to baby both the throttle and brakes in the grass to avoid spinning the rear of the car around as it will snap).

I believe its possible (99% sure) that the entire track can be taken in gears 2-4 and you don't have to shift to first gear period. I can recall only 2 or 3 times where the car dipped into first gear and my suggestion is to stay out of first gear as much as possible because the car seems to be a bit slow accelerating into 2nd gear.

But it can be done, its easier than B-Specing Historic Racing Cup, easier than the Lotus challenge in Top Gear and alot easier than Mission 34 from GT4.

This race isn't that bad. I spun out twice (once on each lap) and finished just behind the leader.

Both of my laps were 6:48. So you need laps around the 6:45 mark and you should win easily.

You just need to string together a couple laps where you don't make any major mistakes.

Finally done it on something like the 8th or 9th attempt was. Struggled with it quite a bit, I was 2nd going into the last long straight and on the bit where you start going down through the gears for the last few corners I just rammed him to get in front because I was so sick of trying to do it and hadn't been any higher than 4th on any previous run.
