Beginning 8pm PST on August 29, a special NASCAR-themed online racing event will be held. Users who compete and win at these events will be awarded the 2010 racing suit and helmet of NASCAR star Jeff Gordon for use with their in-game drivers as a prize.

You're sad about what now? This post just doesn't make sense...if you want to express your....emotions? about why you have to wait until tonight for this update then why not post in the 'What Grinds Your Gears?' thread or in one of the other threads about this coming seasonal?

That's because it'll be 30th August for Europe but in the US it'll still be the 29th...y'know, time differences.
 
Cool looking forward to this seasonal ! Now if we could get PD to give us a save feature for those endurance races, I'd be set !

This seasonal is certainly going to have a lot of hype to live up to.

My point is that it's not clear at all what he's saying. You're wrong to say it's obvious. Unless you think people should just start threads to announce what time it is, I think he needs to explain what his point is.

There's also a thread about this seasonal. He actually linked it. I have no idea what his point is with this thread, so I asked him straight. I don't see why you're whining that I'd ask, but feel free to continue if you like.

He stated the time X is to happen, and then noted it's not that time yet.

What's the point of that? I have a clock. I know it's not time for the seasonal to be updated yet.

I said it's 4:24 Am there, because when I made this thread, it was.
That means it needs several more hours befor we reach that time, to have the update and Nascar. Pepole are whining it's not up yet, because it will be up in several hours.
Just read and try to think?

I read the OP. It appears to me that you started a thread to say that the seasonal wouldn't come for another 15 hours. Not only is this completely meaningless by itself (because, amazingly enough, most people are capable of reading a clock and doing grade-school math), but even if you felt you absolutely needed to state the obvious it should have instead been said in the NASCAR Seasonal thread that was already up.


So I parrot what MM1000 said: What is the point of this?
 
I think the point is he's an fool who thinks his own impatience is enough to start a new thread when there are several others already.

Yep this thread should not exist as there is already an established NASCAR thread. In fact, as we all know the time, it wasn't even worthy of a post on that thread. Time to let this one sink I reckon.

Ok let me get things clear guys.
I diden't mean to just open an aperently pointless thread. But alot of pepole asked why the seasonal isent up yet, and I already, like alot of pepole, posted on the nascar thread, but some pepole ignor comments and write "when is it going up?" and "I cant wait"...
So I thought I would remove spam and kids, and just create a new thread saying it will be up in 15 hours.
Sorry for the confusion. Love u :gtpflag: for such nice pepole...:grumpy:

Hehe, a number of people in that thread seem to think the time came and went, and now PD is snooking us over. So no, not all of us know the time. I don't think the OP posting this has part of that thread (we both allready have) would help though, on that I would agree. People arn't reading it anyway, they're just asking if it's out yet, and doing so over and over. lol.

Look, it will be updated when it's updated and not a second sooner!!! Ugh, what if there is a power outage or the interwebs PD uses has a failure of some sort!!!
