As far I've read the description in the game, you can play it multiple times until the you finish first.

Yeah, but he means you can only get paid ones for every position. Lets say you finished 2nd and got 500k CR, you can't get it again. But you CAN get the first place, and 3rd place prizes, 4th, etc.
