Thank you very much R.

Anyone with a wheel care to share their findings with me.

G27 or Fanatec preferably but I'm not fussy lol.

Oh, would the patch be a problem as I am UK based?
Or would it update automatically as normal?

It should update regularly. It comes at 455 MB in size, which contains both patch and DLC so its big and may take a while (depending on Your storage).

Restart your career, then select 2011. 👍

Thanks.👍

Really wish they would cut some of the multiple numbers, it's annoying having 3 #7 cars. At least they are all real drivers.

Also, seems fine with a wheel, I use a DFGT.

Is this game worth buying? And has the new update fixed online?

I would say Single player is what makes it well worth buying. Online (at least from what I've experianced) is still abit laggy and at times, slow.

I have ordered it, looks waaay better than NASCAR 09 or any other EA efforts.

Yep, Its far better then having almost half of the cup drivers with the other half being horribly made up. Plus, Some of the Nationwide paint schemes I personally think look way better on the Fusion and Cup Impala then they do on the Mustang and Nationwide Impala.

And it is way better too. Offline, AI is far more of a challenge especially at Restrictor plate races. No more having this epic gap that can't be beaten. Online though, still seems buggy but its most notible the more players it is.

I haven't played the game since long before the patch was released. I'm glad to read that the online portion seems to be better because that was the reason I stopped playing the game. Many times when an online race finally started for me I was already a lap or two down....lol

I have it and was pleasantly surprised doing my first offline race at Talladega on Very Hard difficulty, ended up half a lap 4 wide, kinda like the fall race last year. However, never knew cautions come on anyway even if you disabled them in the event of a major crash (someone rolling or getting stuck). Also the AI is a bit tame on easy difficulties and the crash sounds are irritating.

And I just had an online race, layout for online is quite poor I reckon, but race itself was funny. 3 laps at Talladega, wreck on Lap 2 whilst I lead (I started pole lucky me). This guy goes around me in the #88 and leads down the backstretch till this idiot noob in the #20 on the final lap comes on the track and wrecks him. God it was funny going through the middle one car flying each side. If anyone plays online add me by the way, PSN Furinkazen.

The cautions are really bad in this game. Many times I made a mistake and went off the track and the yellow flag never came out. So I drove backwards to get the caution lol. I do long races so I need the cautions to work lol.

I didn't know Gmod now included NASCAR drivers

I played the game for a bit after downloading the patch. The first race post patch was at Pocono and my wheel was pointed to 2 o'clock instead of straight up and down. Has this happened to anyone else? It's very annoying and I tested this at Michigan and Bristol and it does the same thing at those tracks. Makes the game unplayable for me. Going to trade it in for F1 2011 👍

Anyone playing up for some clean racing? Open lobbies seem to mostly be crash fests with driving backwards and few green flag laps.

I find the drafting feels exaggerated but other than that the game is pretty good.

Hmm maybe I'll get this since I have some extra money. So the 2011 cars are in now? That means I can win everything using the Blue Deuce.

Yep, patch & DLC came out like five weeks ago.

If you do it on anything but the hardest settings it's guaranteed ;)

Apparently NASCAR unleashed is coming next.

Not to Europe mind you.

"NASCAR Unleashed is a wild and imaginative experience with few real world boundaries," said Blake Davidson

Oh superb Blake. The last thing anyone would want in a sport is real world boundaries.

Fixed.

Something tells me Blake just kisses the ass of whoever holds the NASCAR license for making a game.

Wonder where they got the "unleashed" slogan from. That's inspirational.

EA will be watching.
