I liked what I saw so far, having a Shop Garage and the actual race Garage is a very nice touch. Makes it feel more like a test session or an actual race weekend. I also love that fact that they have Career mode where you start off in a low performing car and work your way up using credits to improve your team and your car, loved doing that back in in older EA Nascar game and this is a challenge I diffenately look forward to. And one thing I really like is that unlike the past Nascar games, they've included the Gatorade Duels for Daytona 👍

Overall, I'm constintly liking what I'm seeing and hearing.

There aren't any time transitions, just not possible with the tech available. 43 cars on tracks makes things a bit of an issue!

There are day and night versions of tracks where a transition would coccur though.

Edit 1:Nevermind
Edit 2: Thanks for posting the online-bump draft video. That was one of the videos I was looking for.

Austin Dillon is in the #33 in the game. Didn't expect that. Shame they couldn't put Sadler in... I think he is a last ditch addition - Hornish is in the #22 meaning no #12 car in game.

Actually, no. Because of the contracts prior to all that madness, their will be a 12 car in the game as Allmendinger is still in the 22 in the game.

SO who will be in the 12...?

Hornish is in the 22. Go to the video I posted first. Look at the top of the video and see Hornish Jr. in the 22. He is at the start of the video.

EDIT: Here is a picture

Nobody. It was replaced by the 33 (Austin Dillon).

It's. Ice to see Daytona Night is actually night and not dusk like 2011.

Look at the indy video you posted (at 0:40-0:42). The #12 SKF Dodge from Kansas is there. Why would Sam Hornish Jr be in the 22 if his 12 car is also there?

Edit: Its even in the Las Vegas Video you posted clear as day with "Sam Hornish Jr" listed on it.

Because that is a later video.

Anyway it is confirmed that Hornish is in the #22.

Why would Eutechnix risk being sued out of existence by Roger Penske for leaving The Dinger in the 22?

And then we have the problem of Dodge not coming back next season. Unless they patch this early 2013, that will be a black eye for Eutechnyx.

Roger must have let them do it. Since AJ is no longer on the team it made no sense for him to be in the game.

Thats not happening, Eutechnix doesn't even have any data of the new 2013 cars.

Dinger isn't in the 22 anymore, Hornish is in, there is no 12 car anymore.

Dillion is in to make up the numbers.

Dillon can't be in the 3, because that belongs to??? 99% of people buying NTG:IL would be outraged if anyone but Dale Earnhardt Sr was in the 3. I'd wager it's a licensing issue. Just more reason NASCAR should've retired the number 3.

As for the 2013 cars, it will not be difficult for those to be coded between now and Feb 2013 for Daytona. There has already been a test with the new sheet metal. The chassis are the same as current cars. The bodies are different, slightly.

33, not 3.

Yes Dillon is in the 33.

The votes are in and counted and the newest member to the NTG: Inside Line driver lineup #33 Austin Dillon was the driver with the most votes in the Final Week of the NASCAR The Game: Inside Line Driver Reveal, and here is his American Ethanol (Michigan) Paint Scheme.

Yeah, I don't think that's the paint scheme they should go with. 40% of our drought plagued corn is going for that fuel that has worse mileage, destroys engines internally, and has been discovered to produce more pollutants than straight gasoline! The price of food is about to skyrocket and our wonderful government won't repeal the act that is forcing this crap into production. When food becomes unaffordable, the more NASCAR promotes this crap, fans will resent NASCAR for bowing down before the environmentalists. The "Friends of the Earth" is one of the groups who were pushing for ethanol and now they are pushing to repeal is.

I don't know why I was getting the impression Diom was in the 3. Perhaps, they will be trying to do it in a couple of years.

They are putting him in Bowyer's old ride.

Not to be rude because I see your point, but theres very little of that to do with the game. I think that rant is more suited towards another thread.

According to Race Hub on SPEED, Logano might be going to the 22 and some Nationwide races. Ugh, my son is a big fan of Joey's and Hone Depot, and we are a Toyota family.

Wrong thread?

How do you figure? It goes along with the discussion of who will be driving the 22 next year. Hornish has not been signed to drive that car in 2013.

Right thread. Lol

Oh I thought you meant to post about it in the main NASCAR Thread  My bad!

But does it pertain to the game though? ;)

Unless you know something about the game we don't, probably not.
