Some discussion about this in the NASCAR 2015 thread, over in the motorsports section. Eutechnyx sold it's rights to DMi. What does that mean? Not one clue, but it's something.

Well it is located in the heart of NASCAR country,so that is at least a start.

So its probably safe to say Next Gen will likely be a high priority.

I just hope we get a actually good NASCAR game. I tried to give Eutechnyx a chance after the crap that EA produced, but they were not that much better. Yeah, we got actual makes again (which I still hold high as the dumbest thing ANY license holder period has done) and cars that didn't drive like bricks in fruitcake but that's it. Everything else has been..meh. It felt like no progress had been made that much.
