I have/had 2K11, for some strange reason I let someone "borrow" it back in January and that someone never returned it.
But I did enjoy the game, I hope they fix the various online issues with it in 2K12.
BTW: Do you know who the cover-athlete will be for NBA 2K12?

At last , someone who also appreciates the best sports video game series ever. 
I'm hooked since first PS2 version of the game back in 2002 (?), with AI on the cover.
Me and my buddies are having frequent offline "evening tournaments" with this game (bit tweaked simulation sliders , 10 min quarters , HOF difficulty). Best example how good is this game is the fact that this game turned 3 of them into big NBA fans just because they "caught up" on everything that is happening in the league through "nba today" and "living rosters" feature and I didn't even mention ability to play as The Greatest Teams ever as a bonus.
My small "wishlist" for 2k12:
- better pick'n'roll defense
- shot indicator for post up shots and lay ups (especially for lay ups in traffic)
- even better presentation/introduction (already confirmed from what I read around the web)
- stability of online leagues and overhaul into true online franchise with draft and all CBA rules in place
- more classic teams (penny & shaq magic , hakeem rockets , barkley suns, dr j & moses malone 76ers, any team with bernard king in it )
As for the cover. I think we'll get one of 4 options:
-a crossover MJ/ Derrick Rose cover
- shaq cover (since he just retired , was and ex cover guy and hopefully highlighting new feature of his greatest teams in the game)
- nba finals MVP cover (d wade or dirk)
- kevin durant/Jesus cover (just to rub it in to EA Sports for their Elite debacle)

I hope that the Shaq cover makes it. I agree with you on the better pick n' roll defense. Another thing is something I noticed in My Player mode. Is it just me, or do your teammates play worse than your opponents? When I started, my player was rated 48, and I had to pretty much carry the Lakers on both ends, whereas Kobe and Pau were invisible when I was on the floor. And I wasn't even ballhogging. That's definitely one thing that's been bothering me about 2K11.
