Need a break from GT5, What game should I buy?

Just until the next update or DLC comes, I want to try out another game to play, keep in mind I've had a PS3 and GT5 since last Christmas (the only game I have).

So what do you guys play aswell as GT5?
 
F2011. Its an awesome game. Nice gameplay, damage and career mode. Graphics aint the best but its a really nice game specially with DRS and kers ;)
 
I've been playing a lot of Skyrim and Crysis 2. Both very good. I know a few people who are playing Saints Row 3, and are liking it quite a lot. Rage has great gameplay, but the ending is very rushed and it gives you Borderlands ending.... The new Assassins Creed plays like a expanded version of the last one ( which IMO is a very good thing) so thats a great game, but full of complex story.
 
If your looking for another racing game i would also recommend F1 2011. But if your looking for something of a different genre, i would recommend Skyrim (if you're into RPG's) or Battlefield 3 (if you're into FPS)
 
I somehow got into the Assassin's Creed series, if you immerse yourself in the whole story you really get your money's worth out of them. Plus on some versions of AC Revelations, there is AC 1 on the disc as well, and AC 2 and Brotherhood are pretty cheap by now. Makes for a nice change.

I don't know about you guys, but I have real trouble enjoying another racing game on the PS3, since I'm so used to GT. On other consoles it's ok though ( Mario Kart on my friend's Wii :D).
 
It's a matter of personal taste...
I play a lot of Battlefield 3, and sometimes God of War 3, Crysis 2, Fifa10, Assassins Creed 2, Dirt 2.
But if I really want to relax I play Flower ;)
 
rather than get another game. go explore the outside world, if you have a partner spend some quality time with them
 
I bought Dirt 3. I like it, but the physics are kinda, arcade like?? compared to rally in GT5, its a major difference.
 
I am playing Modern Warfare 3 & Skyrim. :)

Usually I start my day off with a few races and jump into MW3 to get rid of some frustrations and then settle into some exploring on Skyrim.

Skyrim is having some technical problems on the PS3 platform so keep in mind you are buying a beta version. Great game but should have never been released with all the bugs. :yuck: Hope they patch it soon.
 
There's not much point asking aobut other games in the GT5 forum. Moved.
 
Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception FTW!
I am SO hoping I get this for Christmas.
For some reason lately I've had this desire to revisit the old PS1 Resident Evil games. Currently replaying RE3: Nemesis. I had nearly completely forgotten how difficult a game this one was.
 
Here's another vote for the Uncharted series. You can buy the dual pack which contains the first 2 games for $30 (in America at least, I have no idea how much it would be for you) and once you finish those you should pick up the third, if you enjoyed them obviously. Personally, I think the Uncharted series is this absolute best new franchise to come out this generation of consoles and any PS3 owner should have these 3 games in his collection.

That one was my favorite, plenty of ammo and firepower to use unlike the conservative amounts of RE1 and RE2.
I'm kinda shocked there aren't any Red Dead Redemption fans, the G.O.T.Y. Edition is now available for 35 bucks US. It has 2 single player campaigns and endless multiplayer game modes and challenges. I've had that game since it released and it shares my PS3 with GT5 almost every day.
 
If you have a decent PC give iracing a try. You don't need a 2000$ system to run it, and you could probably get it running for about 5$ or so. If you have a PC that will run it, it's by far the best racing experience that games have to offer.
 
I assume you don't mean another racing game, so i'm going to say Skyrim, probably one of the best games ever released! It's a must have title.
 
If you're looking for a cheap game, go for Uncharted Drakes Fortune but if you're willing to splash the cash Uncharted 3, Saints Row 3 or Battlefield 3
 
1. Dark Souls, action RPG more emphasis on combat.
2. You can get Uncharted1 and 2 on a single disk. It is third person action adventure game.
3. Ratchet and clank games, tools of destruction, crack in time. Platform games with great weapons.

Go and buy Grand Theft Auto 4.
The one with the extra two add on game pax already in the box with it.

Buy some Jaffa cakes.

Make a few kettles full of Tea.

Trail a pipe from the toilet to your seating area.

Hire a nurse to come round once every few days or so, to give you a bed bath where you sit.

Brush your teeth every now and then, and be careful to use fresh water, rather than Tea.

Enjoy the next 6 months......

This strategy also worx for Skyrim, but I would suggest getting more than one brand of cakes, as Jaffa will get boring once you get in to year two.....

I have Payday:The Heist. Its $20 on psn and I've had it for a month but haven't played it once because of GT5. Its supposed to be a good online shooting game where you use strategy to complete robberies. It also has a short solo campaign as well...

I second Red Dead Redemption. I haven't played a better game than Red Dead Redemption yet, that is excluding GT5 though.
