My brother just bought a 93' Civic Hatch that had a B18C engine (99') swapped into it. The swap was actually done great, the guy that had it also had the A/C system switched to accept R134A from R12. The problem is as any of you know when it comes to work someone else has had done on the car, well I don't know exactly what he did to the A/C. I'm not sure if he had it swapped properly or what, so soon he is bringing it over so I can look at it. According to him and the questions I asked him it has been fitted properly to accept R134A. The issue now is that the compressor is barely turning when he cuts the A/C on, so that's not a big issue there, he needs a new compressor because the clutch has crapped out on him. The main issue is the wiring is all sorts of messed up, the compressor is actually straight wired to the battery. So, when he wanted A/C he had to clip the wire from the battery to the wire for the compressor. Now that the compressor has stopped working I need to fix it for him correctly, especially since the wire was getting extremely hot.

He doesn't have a Hayne's manual for it or any type of info on the wiring, I have looked online but can't find anything except the schematic for the fuse blocks. Does anyone have schematics for the A/C systems wiring? I really need to get this fixed for him right so he doesn't catch his car on fire and die a slow painful death. He's only 19 so he doesn't really grasp how important it is to get the wiring working properly, he thinks nothing will happen. One tip off that something will is the wire burnt in half genius. If anyone has a schematic that would be great, I don't need instructions on what to do (Have my ASE's) just need the schematics. If my old boss liked me at the shop I worked at for a few years I could stop by and jump on the PC there and get them, they pay dearly to have access to all sorts of valuable info on every single car there is, I can't remember the name of the database they have access to, but it's great.

Let me know if this isn't what you're looking for.

This was for a 93 Civic with a 1.6 engine, but I doubt that makes any kind of difference, as long as it's the factory system.

Sweet! Thanks for that mate. That is what I needed so I can get his ac wired back up properly. The engine doesn't matter, all of the ac wiring is like it was stock, the only wiring changes that were made were the ecu wiring harness.
