The single-player on Bike Race had me captivated for days and days.
Trying to eek out those last hundredths...

The multiplayer online has been a daily delight for like 3 months now.

Haven't found any others that hold my attention for more than a few minutes.

I'm on Android, but I think they have it for iphone too.

If you like drag racing, try CSR Racing. I don't like grind-y and freemium games, but its pretty good. Just don't spend your gold coins that often. Also, once you beat a boss and they offer you a chance to win their ride, don't accept the challenge. You can only beat them by buying a nitrous kit with REAL MONEY, which is stupid.

Badland! Badland is excellent fun, I recommend it to all. Then there're the obvious Halfbrick and Rocketcat Games apps.

Plague Inc is pretty entertaining and I think Plants vs. Zombies 2 is free right now.
