and the handling of HP3/MW2 feels too much geared toward 200mph blasting
Considering how Criterion always made their games for high-speed driving, this new set of physics isn't bad actually...but it you wanted more enjoyable low-speed driving, I would avoid Criterion Games altogether as they clearly aren't up your alley.
Just go into your Driver Details > Second Multiplayer Tab > Pro Driver. It has all the pro mod progression there. I can also confirm double KO takedowns do not count towards Powershot Pro progress since I only have 28 done when I been using that mod for a long time already.
Word. I'll take note of that.

Poor Classic, i took all the billboards in the airfield :P.

It's the second time both the game and the PS3 froze after losing connection to Autolog and returning back to singleplayer mode. Someoen else who's been having freezing issues? It's a 160GB Slim model, if anyone wonders.

Also, is there any way to install the game on the harddrive?

I Pre-Ordered NFSMW2 on PSN so its on the HDD and it only froze twice since the game came out

Hi again everyone, I'm buying the game tomorrow (for PS3) and I was wondering whether or not it is worth buying the limited edition version over the normal version. What are the benefits? Thanks.

You'll probably get the limited edition, it's all they sell in all actuality.

Totally not making excuses.  👍

Aaaaanyway, I wonder just to what extent Criterion will support this game. Obviously not to the same extent that BP was but hopefully for a good while. :)

The Limited Edition doesn't cost anything on top of the game. You might as well get it. The 4 hours of double speed points is especially handy.

So I put up a challenge if anyone is up for it.

Mud Bath - 1:03.15 in the Cossie Impreza.

Off Road Pro
Burn
Lightweight
Aero
Short Pro

Yeah, will probably need to try it again with the pro mods.

i've just played online today for first time, and my SP score jumped from level 1->28 after the first speedlist completion, to match my solo score plus 150 pts (1,077,265 vs 1,077,115 sp). Does that sounds normal to you ?

Had the worst time last night getting disconnected from autolog in singleplayer and while in online games. Almost everytime I played an online game I would be disconnected from the servers after random intervals of time. It got quite frustrating, but I highly doubt it is my connection. i have really fast internet in my house and any other game I have played, never had a problem.

So a few questions then:

Do you guys run into this issue of being disconnected from online games a lot and having to re-join?

Do you think ACTUALLY port forwarding this game in my router setting would help at all?

Hope someone has some ideas, thanks.

It's funny because when I'm being connected to a room, it'll tell me I'm not connected to Autolog, the loading finishes up then I'm in still the room like it was a lie.

Hopefully more events and things like that, rather than more cars and nothing else.

Definitely more events... and CUSTOM ROUTES... This will lengthen the life time of this game sevenfold.

You probably should; I have a record like that already.

@MattZR1 : Yes, it's bad. Apparently it has been like that since release. It'll disconnect you/lose connection to Autolog frequently. I don't think I've managed to play an entire hour in a public game without getting disconnected.

Yeah, that's really weird.

Could be they haven't fixed the issues on every server yet? Yesterday I still had the occasional disconnect, but none today.

I've said this before you don't need to be connected to Autolog to play online. CG actually thought that one thru well.

Screw events. Online has twice as many races than offline & they are A LOT more fun. Race "Stock Market Crash" for a really fun race. plus if they add more cars in they will most likely add more events in....

Damn. Multiplayer is slowly driving me crazy. Instant takedowns and elimination during challenges. Geniuses.

:dunce:

Besides races and cars, I'm hoping that they'll extend the map, as they did with BP.

The rather small map extention of Burnout Paradise came late in the game lifetime, if i can rely on my memory.

The very first thing they need to add or fix before any cars or events is a proper front cam view, and a hood cam view, I never play racing games from the rear view. I like being able to properly see where I'm turning and where I'm going to end up.

I also don't understand why they don't have an official NFS most wanted forum up, are they afraid of too much negative feed back or something? It's a good game.. it just.. could be better.

They had one for BP but they got tired of the members being spoiled unbehaved brats & closed it.

Sorry guys, but the game just won't ever top itself after this:

Thanks, no wonder I couldn't find it.. Lol not that I'd really call it a proper discussion forum though.

If they got rid of the forums because of the kids not behaving correctly, then that's a huge fail on their part. They wanted this to be a Multiplayer competitive game, you need a community to go with that, getting rid of your discussion forum and relying on facebook + twitter doesn't really help that.

I never play racing games from the rear view.

Me neither. Except Burnout Paradise and "this" one, which suits perfectly to follow cam. You'll get use to it if you want to ;-)

Burnout Paradise and MW '12 are based on a paradigm you don't find in other racing games, players need to embrace it, not fight it, to love it. We play in follow cam, we get crashed often, opponent cheats but we take them down, we do silly stuff to get nitro and crash even more, we must be eratic in our driving style to loose the cops. And we need to learn the map, because the (excellent) map design is the core of the game.

I finally beat that stupid ambush race I the Raptor. I got lucky and the cops wrecked in traffic rather early. I also smashed my last security gate and I only need to find 3 billboards.

I only need four trophies to, I might try and platinum this game. I need to unlock 3 pro mods in multiplayer which I think I unlocked one already, I need to play a custom playlist I created, I need to finish every race in first which I'm working on and I need the billboard one.
