Remember CG is on EA's leash as was Black Box. If EA says "Spend no time on fixing problems just make the next game." they have to listen because EA pays the bills. They let CG have their way with BP but since then EA has gone stupid. :indiff:

I'm not optimistic about CG's future, as being in the hands of EA, but the lack of patches and server issues are really, really disturbing nonetheless. I've been reconsidering my plans for buying the DLC due to this, sadly.

Pretty good game so far honestly, I've beaten all the Most Wanted cars, I have 1.4M Sp's, 71% Single Player progress. Some of the issues i've been having revolve around MP and it's kinda ridiculous. Most of it is Server issues when in friend games, I have a very good connection and I do not know why, but it says "I have lost connection to Autolog servers" every few hours. For the most part though it's a pretty good balance, I have about 84 Jackspots found, 60/156 Billboards, 65/66 Speed camera's, and about 80 security gates smashed.
Great game though, I'm not sure if anyone has "Pro'd out" any of their cars, but here are some I use a lot:
-McLaren MP4 12c -All pro mods unlocked
-BAC Mono
-Ariel Atom 500
-Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Some cars I try to use more now:
-Nissan GT-R Egoist
-Koingsenegg Agera R
-Pagani Huayra.

But yeah, pretty fun game

I have the F1 LM All pro and I found all jack Spots and Speed Camera's and I am only at 79% with 1.3M SP.

The autolog connection has been a bit buggy since HP. I can be playing anywhere from a hour to 3 without being disconnected or I can go from 1-2 hours with several disconnections.

12 more jack spots to go, and I'm running out of ideas for where to look. Any suggestions?

They come in groups I have notice. So if you have like a bunch in 3 or 4 their might be a few left. Other than that it's mostly in the boondocks of the map.
 
I have 65/66 Speed Camera's and have had for a while but for the life of me I can't find the last one and I must have driven over every milimeter of tarmac a million times.

Sometimes it's in the last place you look. for me it was near where you start the game at. :dunce:

It really doesn't matter since you don't need Autolog to play multiplayer with this game.
 
If you play Need For Speed Most wanted, could you send me a friend request? I recently got a new PS3 on christmas. My psn: harrison1477

I just need some friends that play Most Wanted for Speed camera challenges, Multiplayer friends, etc. But also, because I really want some people to come chill and drive in my lobby. We could potentially have some really cool races, anyway send me a request if you want someone to play with : harrison1477 on PS3.

Can someone give me their opinion about the Ultimate SPeed pack DLC? I want to get it, but is it worth it? I'm not 100% sure the exact things it gives, but if someone has it or knows what exactly it contains, please let me know.

Well I spent 2 hours trying to find the last gate which was no fun, then the billboards was a bit easier. Now it's just drive and win races, hoping to go for another Plat trophy.

You can find the answer if you actually go look it up. That will probably help you decide whether or not you will think if it's worth your money.

For Online Use.

Venom is a bit weighty and good for the "rammers" while LM is a bit lighter and faster to use against the worthless AI.
 
After reaching Platinum, I took some weeks off Most Wanted. Now that I came back for some cruising and quick arcade racing joy, I have encountered a couple of very frustrating glitches since the last patch.
First, Autolog causes sync problems transferring SpeedPoints from single player to multiplayer, recently for me not just once but three times, causing me to lose about half a million SP overall (usually I use single player to grind SP in the police chases, doesn't take that much effort or time but still frustrating to lose the bounty of multiple chases while it was successfully added to and shown on my overall SP count offline).
Second, and this should be an important note to anyone who doesn't want to get incredibly frustrated with the game: Although the small icon is occasionally displayed while driving offline, the game does not save at any time while in a private lobby. The only save progress is when you leave the private lobby. I learned this when using the PS3 chat to communicate in the game with up to 5 people at a time in the private lobby, the game froze when I switched back from chat to the game (it did work fine the 6 hours before while I was in that very lobby, plus all the other days I had sessions with friends...). Had to restart PS3 as it was completely frozen, now when I returned to join my friends again I noticed as soon as the screen was there that all the SP I earned online was gone, as were the 150 miles I drove on the newly unlocked Agera to unlock mods. I got scared, switched cars, it was the same on all of them: all progress I did in those past 6 hours was completely lost, including the endless takedown boosts it took to unlock colours, the mileage grindings on highway, the milestones, more colour unlocks, more upgrade unlocks, EVERYTHING.
I really wonder what the game is doing when displaying the NFS icon in an online lobby. It's annoying as it makes your game laggy and causes major keyboard input lag on the PS chat, while it doesn't seem to do anything. The save file keeps unmodified and there doesn't seem to be a server saved backup either. WTF EA?

Haven't touched Most Wanted since, and that was a week ago.

Regarding online saving, this maybe for SP, but not mod progress... probably not anyway. I normally just quit game after an event whenever I stop playing and no progress is lost.

It was worth it though, I have no complaints, infact, I thought the McLaren would be the best car, and it was actually the Pagani.

The Pagani sounds good, looks good, has good speed and good handling! A 11/10 in my book! 👍

The McLaren was a nighmare without the Track tires though, the highway race was quite difficult until I unlocked the Track Tires. :ill: And when I unlocked the Lightweight Chassis, I was unbeatable. I was like 10+ second ahead of them on every race except the Highway Race. :sly: (Because of the Koenigseggs and Bugattis lol)


Also, on Dec 24 (Not sure if the date matters), I saw a DLC preview on google images for NFS MW that had a Diablo, McLaren F1 and another car. :odd:

It's because everyone has no skills online & need to drive an OP vehicle to compensate for their small d.... skill set. :sly:

We are driving different cars then. With TTP on the F1 LM it can nimbly weave traffic at 240MPH but still break out into a monstrous drift at the tap of the brake. It can easily beat every car in the game at anything in skilled hands.

The Zonda R is great but it's the slowest out of the pack, the weakest (dies like the race cars) & it drifts well but the back washes out to much for the more narrow corners.

I did find it in the end just now on a road in Downtown that looked unfamilar got the speed camera but had one of the gates smashed so I don't know how I missed it first time around

Now that I think about it, it probably was from Hot Pursuit. :dunce:
The photo that I am talking had a Red Diablo SV, Orange McLaren F1 and another car. :guilty:
Ah well, would of been great to have those cars as DLC. :indiff:

Wait... in Hot Pursuit the F1 was in the class above the Diablo - so you couldn't race them against each other 💡

But I imagine in Most Wanted you could, they'd both be exotics right?

I drove the Venom 210 miles to get the Motorhead plate & parked it at the bottom of the ocean. I'm on the Vitesse now & I'm hating every single mile. God Veyron's are complete crap to drive. 👎 The only upside to the hunk of **** is that it takedowns all but the SUV class with a light graze. Basically the Veyron is the wimpy troll's best friend.
 
Because it lugs around more mass than most cars, I think it's refreshing to drive. And it's not entirely bad either as it does accelerate pretty well and is fairly stable off road.
