If the PS2 version comes close to that I'll be happy. Also, a video:

Hmm... I'm on the fence about that vid but I'm definitely gonna get this game. God damn it... that's two future EA purchases. :banghead:

Wow if the wii version "supposedly" look's that good, i can't wait to see the final version of the ps3. I don't really know how they can improve on "that vid"(the one with the wicked smoke). Aslong as they bring back the boost guage:(

I'm liking the fact that this game as an Escort XR3 in it...Also it seems to look good still which is good. The customisation looks very good much better than carbon's and the drifting looks good too. Online is something I really want to do now...

EA HURRY UP AND RELEASE THIS ALREADY!!!

i just want full G25 supprt, Clutch, H-gate and 900 degree mode(carbon has clutch and h-gate, but only 200 degree mode. Defeats the purpose imo).

Anything show up on the east coast?? I was searching other places and the only thing I heard was 2 am on tues so that's in 4hrs. for me but I don't have my 360 with me. :banghead:

Edit: Found this

Anyway, downloaded the demo... and it was a pleasant surprise. It's actually not crap. The graphics look great... surprisingly it's close to the original teaser trailer which was thought to be CG. Everything is very clean, there's not a bunch of jaggies like Carbon. The smoke effects are top notch, by far the best I've seen this gen. Framerate is completely steady (finally!), the physics seem solid and the damage system is pretty good as well. Zipping past a car flipping over and over again at 170MPH is a really nice feeling... and going on to do the flipping yourself if you make a mistake makes it even more sweet.

As for gameplay, it's pretty fun as well, but it's Need for Speed. It seems less annoying to play for whatever reason, but IMO it's fun. If you thought Carbon and Most Wanted's gameplay were good, you'll like ProStreet. If you hated it, you're probably not going to like it.

Overall, it's a good surprise for me, considering I thought it'd suck. I don't think I'll buy it though. Maybe I'll pick it up when it's cheap.

Demo is crap, and can hardly be called a demo. Two races? I can't pick any cars? There's generally no information about how the game works at all. There's a year long trailer, and then two races that take at most 2 minutes, and are boringly easy.

I don't understand why the hell you cannot turn off ABS, SM and TCS, even though they infer that you do when you select the "King" setting. Due to not being able to turn all the crap off I have no idea if the physics are any good.

So basically I have no idea if it's any good because this is the lamest excuse for a demo I've ever played.

I've gotten more information about a game from looking at screenshots, than playing this.

Wow, what a pile of crap. It's not looking good for this game. They better vastly improve it for the full version.

Some of the things MistaX said about the aid's that you can't set it. Car damage modeling is not as advertised... Physics are weird, in a straight line fast it seems to want to pull to one side instead of let you turn. (yes, I'm aware of what to do in certain situations in terms of controlling a car)

As I said, this is for the demo... They better improve it a lot for the full game.

Its not too bad:P I mean, name some games where its better?

note: im not saying the damage model is brilliant just asking if you can verify why you think this.

I'm just saying... EA said they were going to give this a "serious" shot but from the looks of the demo they half assed it. Maybe I have too high expectations for them but it was needed because it's EA.

The steering in this game is absolutely horrific, it either doesn't, or it does to the extreme.

Damage modeling is good though.
