I never would've thought anyone could do worse "drift physics" than Juiced 2 but apparently NFS/EA has out done themselves with the most retarded drifting physics evah!

When will developers get it in there heads that there is no such thing as dedicated "drift physics"... ? :rolleyes:


My other critism... wtf were they thinking with the aftermarket parts...? Seriously, this is what again? oh yea almost 08. When did Import Tuner challenge come out? 06... Ubisoft doesn't even do cars! Why couldn't you use real aftermarket parts!? hell, even Juiced has some realistic stuff. How long have you been making NFS?! Hmm... yeah.

Anyways, girlfriend bought this today on the 360, must say, pleasantly suprised, just been playing it for the past 3 hours, really enjoying it and its rather addictive. Best NFS I have played since hot pursuit 2.
 
And... They said they were going to make a "serious attempt" at a car game that wasn't like the past NFS games.

You know, I'll be fair to them, its a better attempt at a car game than any other NFS, and, forgive me if im wrong but this is not like any other NFS I have played...perhaps it could have been better but imo they did what they said.

Asking that question here will get you every answer;) I like it, I think its a very good game, its fun, looks great and is highly addictive.

But tbh, the best way to find out for yourself (as everyone in this thread seems to have a diferent opinion) would be to go and buy the game.

Its a good game, but i don't think it would be very good, cause mostly its just fun to play with and can quite become addictive but after awhile it just gets boring.....

Like i have said many times, crap game but very fun. SM33, i think its better if you have a look at this thread before considering buying it. Its really a love or hate game.

Haha... I have my PS2(s) with me at all times... But at the moment I'm waiting for the PC to arrive, because I'm holding a copy of the PC version. Remember?

I played the PS3 Demo of the game a few weeks back, and it is very fun and Very Addictive (especially speedtrap races). I assume the full version is a little more... complete. So I'm sold 👍

It isn't like GT4 photomode. you can take a picture of your car and put it on the internet. i don't have the game but that is how it was on Carbon.

Apparently you can take photos during a race, and whilst showcasing your car.

Yeah, the PS2 and the Wii version didn't have photomode at all. :mad:
But the photomode feature was just terrible. You can't save it onto a thumbdrive like GT4 and that you have to upload it on the NFS website before getting to edit or even post the photo somewhere else. The uploading photos do sometime sucks as well because it is slow and/or retarded......(well thats what i heard anyways.....)
 
I haven't found it yet... I'd imagine it'd be hard when there's no replay system. Or at least I haven't found that yet either. :dunce:

No idea, I had to use the cheats.

And im nearly giving up on this drift crap. I constantly keep losing at this. The physics are 🤬 up. And the AI gets a huge score, which im sure is not even possible. And bloody hell i hate it when your winning a drift event by like 10 points and youve worked so hard for it and then you friggen roll your car or something.
 
This lag or low FPS or whatever, is starting to get really irritating because I have to wait for the 360 to think about what it's going to render and then make my move. Most of the time it happens right before the turn so I have to compensate for it and for the car. :rolleyes:

  • Impreza STi (which butchered the drag races)
  • 911 Turbo (great grip racing car)
  • Ford Shelby GT500 (the new one)
  • Mustang GT (after beating Karol Monroe)
  • Pontiac GTO, (the one in challange race weekend)
  • Chevy Cobalt (but i sold it already :indiff: so it doesn't count)
  • Pontiac GTO 65' (the one i beat Nate Denver. Kills it in wheelie comps)
  • Mzada RX-7(which i beat Aki Kimura)
  • Skyline GT-R R34 ( best car for speed runs)
  • Dodge Viper (meh, use that cheat thing....)
  • 350Z (not worth mentioning, its like crap!)
  • Golf GTi (meh, stupid cheat)
  • Lancer Evo X (after beating Ryo, which you never will :p)
  • Cayman S (fails at drag racing, turned it into a grip car)
  • BMW M3 E46 ( won the car in the challange race weekend, excellent drift car)
  • BMW M3 E92 (won against Ray Krieger)

I also have 1.7 million left in cash (make it 1.8 million :D) and i have 2 free car marker left. (which i can pick even the Zonda S)

So what makes you think you have better cars than me!!!!? :grumpy:
