I have restarted my game for what feels like the 100th time. Can someone tell me, do I seriuosly need to tune my cars at the start, or do I just leave it until I really need to, and leave the winning to my abilities only? This way I would have more money to buy cars!

Tokyo is simply too hard IMO. The AI gets a ridiculously huge amount of points too. I think they should've kept the same physics for drift from the grip racing.

Its not that hard, theres just particular lines to take.

Is anyone else having problems uploading Photomode shots to the Xbox 360 upload server?

It takes awhile for your first shots to be processed once this process of around 3 or 4 days is done every photo you take will appear straight away. 👍

hemisport read about a page back, I was teaching Speedster how to wheelie before. Nitrous is the key ;)

ok, thanks.
i have been playing for a while now and i have $650,000. i was planning on buying a new grip and/or a new drift car. my current grip car is a BMW M3 E46, around 480 horsepower, i have some stage 4 parts and a lot of stage 3 parts. my current drift car is an Infinity G35, to tell you the truth, i just don't like it any more. the engine sound is annoying, i don't like the looks, and there is a serious lack of power.
these are the cars that i was looking at for grip:
Murcielago LP 460, i have really been considering this one.
Porsche 911 Turbo, supposedly a good grip car
Nissan GTR (not the proto), bang for the buck, i just don't know what car to choose.
The drift cars:
Cadillac CTSV, i hear that it is really good and gets high points.
Mazda RX7, i don't really want it because so many people use it, but it is supposed to be good.
Camaro Concept, i have seen a few of these near the top of the leaderboard
If you guys could help me out i would really appreciate it.

could some one answer the question above? (i was forced to double post because i have been waiting for a few days and haven't gotten a reply.)

E46 M3 is a great drifter when stock. The 911 is a good grip car, but I like the Evo X, personal opinion.

damnit what he said ^^

thanks guys, i am trying to beat the race day right before the grip king, but my BMW just can't do the one track. i place 1st in all the others, it is just the time attack i can't do.

God you guys are so much farther ahead in this game Than I am.. it seems to be a short game though no?

Well I got it Christmas, and am still working at it. I've known far, far, far shorter games than this. Take Full Auto 2 Battlelines, me and my brother completed it in under a week.

Ugh, I'm stuck! I cant beat the Grip Sector Challange in Autopolis with the GTO... Its impossible!

has anyone tried the Z4M Coupe for drifting? it's pretty decent, I use it and despite the lack of power, you can pull off some nice drifts with it. 👍

Yeah I had it as a drifter up till recently, where it just couldn't rival the other opponents.

My latest setup goes like this...

Grip: Porsche 911 Turbo (Yup, GT2 been demoted)
Drag: Still my trusty Dodge Charger
Drift: Porsche 911 GT2
Speed: Dodge Viper SRT10 (The one you win, but re-tuned)

I really like my current setup though. The Turbo is a excellent Grip car even though it has less than 600hp it grips like mad and handles brilliantly. The Charger is amazing as per usual, especially with the addition of a 6th gear. The GT2 is simply a great drifter, the power really does go through those rear tyres to let them burn. So I feel as if I have a good setup.

What do you guys mean by "Speed" does that mean time trials?

It means "speed runs"
Its like your going full out in a long (but very tricky) road in a point to point race. Much like doing those speedtraps run like in MW or Carbon, except now you have this top speed run challenge as well. But its harsh when you hit a bump and totalled your car or slam into a wall or just simply crash!!! :scared: :ouch:

My cars:
Drift: Drift king's RX-7
Grip: Lamborghini Murcielago
Speed: Ford GT (My god it's fast. Too bad it stops at 250 MPH.:indiff:)
Drag: '69 Camaro (This thing is insane. It wheelies the entire Quarter Mile.)
Oh, and a question. What is a car's top speed in KPH? I wanted to know if it would go faster in Metric.

I figured that the top speed would be rounded to a nice, fluffy number, like 400 KPH or 410, which might be faster.

Your "figuring" isnt correct. The number in KM/H will be more, but that does not mean the car will be going any faster.

i thought that i would give you guys a little update since i bought my 911 turbo:
i am the grip king, and the drag king, and i only have 3 race days left, not including the speed and drift kings and Ryo. i had 769,000 before buying my 911 and after buying/upgrading it i was left with 400,000. i have worked that up to about 530,000. i was thinking of switching my bmw m3 e46 to drift instead of grip. i don't really want to make it a drift car because i don't want to lose my blueprints and it is my backup grip car. so i was thinking about buying the CTSV as my new drifter, could some one tell me how good it really is?

How can a car go faster if you convert to metric units? :odd:

The fact that 1 KM is smaller than 1 mile results in larger numbers, which makes people think that 400km/h is faster than 250MPH (they're the same speed though)
