Just because it says 'single-player" doesn't mean you won't need internet. There are such things as an online single-player.

Just because it says 'single-player" doesn't mean you won't need internet. There are such things as an online single-player.

Yeah I'm guessing it will be like Rivals where you can play in single player sessions while still connected to the EA servers

Well i'm guessing they will have the same reviews as Rivals.

And excuse me the pickyness but the discrepancy seen in the ratings only means that the police bugatti veyron, lens flare , explosions and pretentious single player campaign worked only for reviewers.

I actually quite liked Rivals, it was good fun to play through it but once you beat all the speedlists and assignments and have bought all the cars there really isn't much more to it. The story was just stupid though. Also I quite like the idea of supercars as police cars.

I never trust professional reviews:

1) Most don't understand or can't play racing games properly.

2) They only play for a short time only (expected because they have to play many games for their job), hence their views are biased towards the early "honeymoon" parts of the game. Often missing out on bugs/glitches and grinding aspects that only comes up later on.

3) They can be bribed to give good reviews (this is EA we're talking about).

No offense to any professional reviewers here, as I am sure this does not apply to all. But it has happened in the past and it can happen again. If both professional and user scores are similar then they may have some validity, but otherwise stick to user reviews and forum posts. Youtube gameplay reviews are good as well since you can actually see what it's like to play. Of course some players are also biased, but the law of averages even out in the end 👍

For the site i contribute they expect reviewers to actually FINISH games befre riviewing it, thought it applied everywhere.
That's why i'm still speechless on the 4/5 ratings given by metacritic to NFSMW 2012.
Btw here's a wishlist

• possibility to play the game offline
• engaging gameplay, stop with drifting sillyness
• the return of magazine front pictures
• photography in general, we need it.
• possibility to create events, meetings and such
• still, to not suck.

Setting: A mix of the different cities in NFS history with perhaps some mountain paths (Fan made map not made by me)

Cars: A mix of everything, tuners, muscle, exotics, give us everything from the 240SX to the Koenigsegg Agera!

Cops: Crown Vics, Chargers, Corvettes, SUV's, Spike Strips, Choppers, road blocks etc.

Story: Something similar to NFS Carbon and Most Wanted perhaps with some recurring characters

There's already a Huracan confirmed, so a few supercars will make it I think. Hyper probably not. Unless they make all cars have the same performance fully maxxed out like in Underground 1 and 2 again.

I think it's safe to say whatever cars are in No Limits will make it, plus those already seen in trailers and press shots. Anyone have a full car list for No Limits?
