Judging by the screenshots, that Gallardo is likely just the pre-facelift LP570-4 Superleggera because the wing is different. The new Squadra Corse has a much larger wing.

The G that's in Rivals is the normal LP560-4. Not the new Corsa. The wings are totally different. And no just because the wing is up doesnt automatically make it a Corsa. Corsa has a fixed wing, the LP560 doesn't. Just to clarify things for you.
 
Is the Superleggera a part of the facelift program or not?

The Squadra Corse could technically pass off as a facelifted Superleggera, but most likely just a facelifted Super Trofeo Stradale because of the larger rear wing.
 
Same footage, it's the same car that we are talking about. Looks like a fixed spoiler to me.

It's not, the 2 legs of the spoiler are too close. Corsa are spread apart. Besides the Corsa was annouced within this week, so it couldn't be in. Well it could but likely not. DLC? Possibly.
 
Plus look at Audiman's comparison, the Superleggera wings on the sides kinda dip down while the Corsa's stay rigid.
 
Alright i'm convinced. But the second Gallardo in game might still be Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.
 
That's great. It was kinda dumb in Carbon and Most Wanted (both versions), when you would come barreling through at 200mph, whack through a blocking car and the rest would just sit there while you either blast off or potentially turn around to send the rest of the blocking cars to the scrapyard.
 
Looks like i was right (unfortunately)... From the video you can see there are only 2 slots for weapons :(

then again it also looks like there are at lease 5 or 6 weapons too. So given the No lobby Online could have all of them running.
 
Well that was an interesting video. The weapons in particular. You've got the EMP, spikes, jammer and turbo returning from Hot Pursuit. Then you've got the new ones: shockwave (as demonstrated by the Veneno in the undercover trailer), shock mines, and force-field. I look forward to getting a look at the cop customization, especially as I will likely be spending most of my time as an RCPD officer.

I don't expect to be able to have all 5 or 6 weapons running, but 4 weapons mapped to the D-pad like in HP2010 would be the perfect amount.

2 weapons seems like a complete compromise because they couldn't assign weapons to the D-Pad as its needed for controlling AllDrive. :rolleyes:

Just 2 weapons really really sucks, pursuits just wont be as fun!... If you remember in HP you had Spikes, EMP, Jammer and Turbo in one race, or Roadblock, EMP, Helicopter and Spikes as a cop.. This led to some really intense and strategic pursuits.

IMO Having only 2 weapons per race will completely change the dynamics and duration of the races / pursuits in a negative way...

Thoughts?

Personally, I like it. Now you have to think about what you're going out to fight with. You can choose the weapons to compliment your play style or "class". An example would be a car that moves fast to avoid hits, and with spikes and shock mines to slow pursuers behind the driver.

My God, that guy has the most annoying accent and voice I've ever heard! :lol:

On a more game related note, I wonder why the cops and racers have different HUD's ?? The Boost gauge RPM gauge and Damage Bar look much nicer in Race mode than in Cop mode.. :odd:

Another point, when the cop busts a racer it seems very uneventfull :rolleyes: ... I'd like to see a small 2 or 3 second cutscene with "BUSTED!" like in HP2010 just to get a better sense of accomplishment/satisfaction when you actually bust a racer!!

Its the little details that make the biggest difference! :)

LOL. Yeah I'm serious, if they can put in a cut scene everytime you crash im sure they could put in a scene when you actually do something significant like Escape or Bust a racer ... nothing too long 1 or 2 seconds just like the crash scenes.

I say take out the crash scenes and put in Escape/Busted scenes!
