Theirs no references for most of the cars. I mean I know some but, stuff like the Spider MP4,and 918
Are you completely sure about that?

Excellent thank you guys I missed those. So is the GT500 both racer and cop? I remember seeing a racer version earlier this year.

Although we did confirm its presence on both sides, it's starting to become too hard for me to see the difference. It's just a complete mind-🤬 in regards of how they're revealing and/or teasing the cars and their factions.

Anyways, TeamVVV uploaded a 3-part hands-on with the game:

The end of Part 3 is quite simply breath-taking.

I think its for balance, HP tried to do side exclusivity but gave up half way. That's why the cars meant to only be racers tend to do better within their class. With Rivals holding firm hopefully this means no OP car. It's no fun when you have to use a car to stay competitive, and its worse when the player base doesn't acknowledge this and say its about the driver bs.

Ps I'm not sure about that wiki, alot of cars on their have no proof.

I don't entirely follow your post. Regarding balance, having the same amount of cars for both sides isn't the only way for both to be level. I've played a lot of Hot Pursuit and I still do. One of the things I've noticed is that the cop cars are tuned, just like in real-life. Every cop car in Hot Pursuit is fast enough to catch up to the fastest racer in its equivalent class. So even if you have the best racer car in, say, the Performance Class, every cop car in the Highway Patrol Class (the cop equivalent of Performance) has the ability to catch the fastest Performance Class car. Going by those lines, it won't matter if the racers have double the amount of cars to choose from, because cops will have at least one car prepared to chase down and catch any racer regardless.

Thats why HP is atm one of the best NFS, because its balanced. Cops car must be faster than racer, doesnt matter how racer fast is (the only exception is SL65 in super series, overpower car, played well can out run almost every cop).
I really hope that cars will be balanced in rivals, if not, we will see on roads only agera, veyron, p1 etc. because rest is too slow to keep up them.

The way I understand it is that, Ford Shelby GT500 is a cop car while the Ford Mustang GT (the same that you saw yesterday, Ken Block's ride and the NFS movie edition) is a racer car so it isn't available to both sides.

There, it's official now. COP CAR!

I completely agree with making the cops faster than racers and I want things to be balanced. I just don't like the exclusivity of cars for each side. Make as many cars available for the cops as possible (as long as they make sense to be a police interceptor unit) and make pretty much all cars available in racer trim. You might think that would put the cops at a disadvantage, but if you consider cop cars are tuned for extra speed, even if the police can't use a Ferrari 458 Spider, the Ferrari FF they can use will be fast enough catch the racer.

I'm pretty sure you need to pay $ on PS4.

you don't have to pay to carry over your account.you only need to "Play" online ,you don't need to play f2p games, watch netflix(besides your monthly fee),or access the store.the accounts will carry over just like the vita with ps3 all connected.

Um if the F2P games are NOT online then yea but if it's online then most likely you need PS+

Only thing required for PS+ is for Multiplayer Online.

I wasn't talking about the amount, more of the performance of the cars. My favorite example, Exotic series, Ford GT and the Viper ACR or Stirling Moss. Whether the Ford GT was a cop or a racer it wasn't catching or outrunning those top tier cars. Thing is those top tier cars were originally racer only(well the moss still is) and so their balanced somewhat when something like SLR or Reventon (originally cop only) is chasing. The imbalance is still present just not as prominent. I mean you can model and program 60 cars but what does it matter if only 5 are actually relevant?

I don't Rivals to become a F1/SL65 fest again. I don't want to be forced to use these OP cars. I tried to convince the HP community their was other cars. I was laughed at. Not again. If it comes to it,in Rivals I will do what is nesscary.

I understand what you mean now. You want cars to be balanced compared to each other so that lots of people don't all start using the same car to gain an advantage. I want that to. However, I do confess that I haven't noticed such an advantage to using those cars you've specified. But, then again, I mostly played single-player, not multi-player like you are referring to. What I don't want to see is too many exclusives for either side, like it seems to be happening. For example, don't make the Koenigsegg Agera R a cop exclusive and give it to the racers as well. The same way, make the Lamborghini Veneno available for police use.

I may just give the series 1 more chance & pick this up for the Xbox One. It's reminding me more & more of Criterion's Hot Pursuit (which I absolutely love) with a stellar list of cars & locations/scenery, and making me forget the train wreck (imo) of Most Wanted. This is just based on brief watching of the 3 vids above, but the physics engine seems more like HP as well. 👍

The map layout reminds me of an Undercover/Most Wanted Hybrid (2005).

Now next on my to get list is GT6.

Is there a track and car list? It would be nice if the thread host would update the first post with that info. Not sifting through 1200+ posts. I have a pizza cooking.

I does its hybrid of the old school most wanted and seacrest county based on the screenshots...the icons on the map..also kinda just scream most wanted 2005 also if you look at the videos showing the parts of the map , it is divided into races/events

Not really, no. For example: the Bugatti cop car in game is the Super Sport not Grand Sport Vitesse; there is no official confirmation that the Ferrari 355 F1 Berlinetta or the LaFerrari are in game so both of that are fake, you just can't believe in one simple article when it comes to car list because they will never get a different demo compared to everyone else; Ford Shelby GT500 is just a cop car as far as I am concerned; the rest remains spot on with my list.

PS: I even edited their list to fix their mistakes and they banned my IP, that seems fair. :ouch:

It was you who confirmed the 355 F1. Also I confirmed La Ferrari in a interview, dig back a few thousands pages and you'll see it.

That's your problem, you really can't believe that they would have a different demo compared to everyone else and two of them aren't even officially confirmed yet.
Case number1 - 355 F1 Berlinetta
This is exactly the same preview that you saw in that Xbox Magazine, if you look at it again they have Ferrari F1 Berlinetta which just proves that it was a typo from them and they wanted to say Ferrari F12 Berlinetta because that's the main car of the game.

Case number2 - LaFerrari
To be honest I was actually believing that source until I reached their confirmed list about the cars in game; they should show us where did they seen the LaFerrari plus Dodge Challenger SRT8, Porsche 911 GT3 on the unknown side??? Those 2 were already confirmed to be racer vehicles a long time ago and they even show them in the end of that article as pre-order incentives so yeah fake again!

Case number3 - Ferrari Enzo
Now this one I actually believe because there are in game footage showing that he is infact in game as a racer vehicle.

I am just going to act like you, "Oh look Porsche Carrera GT is confirmed as a racer and the McLaren F1 and Porsche Carrera GT are also in game, I seen it in these articles" :banghead:
Don't believe in these articles when it comes to confirming cars in game, they only way to truly confirm them is throught screenshots and gameplay footage.

My new map:

Looks like a mix of HP and MW, If you look at the details on the map you will see some features that looks like HP and some that look like MW.
