You even don't know what cars are in the world. This is the 'ordinary' Range Rover, not Evoque, not Sport:

I never said I didn't know what a Range Rover was. I said the Land Rover name wasn't in front of it on the list...

EA would never allow a full car list to be revealed such a long time before launch.
Ding ding ding. Posting the full list this far ahead of launch isn't something Fredo should be doing if it's him.
Actually they would allow you but if you got caught you could get fired, anyway explain me why the Range Rover is a dead giveaway? If I remember it right they also had it on NFS Most Wanted 2012.
Think about what you just posted. :dunce:

If they allowed Fredo to reveal the full list, but would fire him if they caught him doing so, then they didn't allow him to reveal it in the first place....

I'm sorry, that isn't the way I was supposed to write that. Obviously anyone from the team has the full car list but EA doesn't allow them to share it until a certain time, that doesn't stop anyone like the guy who leaked the entire car list but most likely nobody knows who he is yet that's why he still keeps posting stuff. :sly:

Except we do know who he is....Thanks to you because you posted it.
On his page description he has this: "If you have any questions please contact Fredrik Johnsson on +46 8 658 78 00 or contact us through the ask a question form."

Now if you search on google for that name, one of the first things that you will find is his linkedin profile that shows that currently he works for Ghost Games -> http://se.linkedin.com/in/hrfredrik

I assume you forgot or didn't know the memo that he released a tweet stating it wasn't his page. When asked if it was his page, he replied with this.
@hrfredrik
Absolutely not. Misrepresentation.

It's either an unknown Ghost employee or a fan. Only time will tell.

To be quite honest, the racers sound like they have the better cars than the cops. Some cars aren't on the side as I hoped they would've been.

LaFerrari only cop, what a shame!
There is hope if they have another Hot Pursuit scenario again, i'm not sure if you remember but in Hot Pursuit 2010 they had at least for consoles a Rebels Pack that lets you drive 7 cars that were only available for cops. These cars were: Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, Aston Martin DBS, Audi R8 5.2 FSI, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition, Lamborghini Reventón, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

I pre-ordered the PS3 version from Amazon and I'm happy with that choice. I don't like getting new consoles at launch.

I'm not sure if this has been posted here before but it seems interesting.
Marcus Nilsson points to the men occupying the room:
"These were some of the first people I hired to the studio, the entire physics team is from Simbin."

Now if you don't know of Simbin you're probably not into hardcore racing simulators on PC, but the Swedish studio successfully developed some of the most realistic racing simulators on the market. There is a deep and very detailed physics engine at work behind the scenes in Need for Speed: Rivals - and while this is toned to allow for excessive drifting and the more accessible brand racing Need for Speed is known for, the foundation is there for a simulation.

"The handling and physics set up in this is very, very realistic, but what we do is we layer on top of that, the ability to drift the car very quickly around the corner and just having a lot of fun within two minutes of picking up the controller," explains creative director Craig Sullivan. "Yes, we always start off with very realistic, very beliveable physics so that these cars can pretty much do anything and it looks right. The we layer on the Criterion special sauce of getting camera right, getting the drifting right, getting the feeling of the braking or the e-braking, jumping or even just the collisions are very, very finely tuned. We know we're not making a simulation. We could make a simulation if we wanted to, but we know in this type of game for these guys who are racing chasing as a cop and a racer, they want it to be something that's very... Easy to get into, but quite hard to master."

Our next stop on the studio tour is the AI department. Tasked with building an AI that should act and behave the same way a human player would, the objective is to reach a point where players cannot tell the difference between the AI or human counterparts. The idea is to not allow the AI to cheat, they race by the same rules as human players - they won't exceed top speed in order to catch up, they won't slow down if they get in front. They will, however, make mistakes. We were shown how AI drivers would take certain corners - how using the same inputs as players they would be more or less successful in doing so.

Took note of the "drifting" comment, and here I am about to say the person driving that Ferrari struggled to initiate one.

I like that the takedown cams sit for at most 3 seconds, maybe that's just a setting they kept for the development stage, I sure hope it stays this way.

After having a bad time with the online, I'm going to sit out for Rivals until I can confirm there is a definite way to start race lobbies.

I don't know who reported that facebook page for leaking the car list but congratulations, the page just got closed. Enjoy being left in the dark until October without any information.

How do you know, we will be without any information until October?

Because that is usually how it happens. They show something new at Gamescom, then another thing at another conference then when they are really close to release they just reveal everything that is remaining.

If they will show something new at Gamescom, how can we be 'left in the dark' until October. I don't get it.

i want underground 3
I want Underground 3 too.:sly:

What I meant is that you will "hear" the news from bits to bits instead of all at once. At gamescom they might show the costumization options that the game has, some new footage at Eurogamer Expo and that's it.

We don't even know if it was a real car list.

You forgot to mention Tokyo Game Show as well, they might show some new info as well over there.

PS4 all the way, I know I wouldn't be happy knowing I'm playing a game that isn't the best it can be!
That isn't necessarily true. Some games that are ported to the next gen consoles actually are worse since they are just that....a port. First prime example that comes to mind is Most Wanted. So I wouldn't be too excited to get what you think will be the better version for a new console. Just my opinion.
