My HDMI cables are not working. I have a 32 in tv I use them on and they work fine, but when i switch to my 51 inch TV they don't. Any ideas of what the problem is? Sorry If it's in the wrong forums..

Use them how? In, Out, both? In from what? Out to what?

Correct source selected on the TV?

Suggestion: Buy new HDMI Cable. Preferably one of the higher end ones. The one you have might not be able to transmit the bandwidth that your 51" TV requires. Chuck in $20 for a really high end cable, and you might have a winner. Ask others before doing this though.

Solved.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. And expensive HDMI cable is NOT necessary. An HDMI cable transfers a digital signal from one place to another. It either works or it doesn't. If you're paying more than $5-10 for a 6', you're paying too much.

This, times infinity. High end cables for digital signals are pointless. And you can get them for under $5, at least before shipping.

Honestly, it sounds like you have input on the larger television not properly selected, seeing as how the cable is working for your other TV. Do you know what resolutions the two TV's run at, not that it should be an issue...

So PS3 HDMI out is connected to one of the TV's HDMI inputs. MAKE SURE it's an input, like HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 (however they're labelled) and not HDMI OUT. Then make sure you've actually selected that input on the TV's remote. It doesn't automatically switch to it just because it's there.

Sorry guys, I didn't realize in the US they are that cheap. Here in AU, for a high end cable, a price of $20 is cheap. From what I knew it had something to do with bandwidth, clearly I was wrong. My apologies, ignore my previous post.

Sweet, I'll look into that ^^

I don't really wanna use the crappy one that comes with my graphics card, userally they're rubbish to give them a compliment.

They're these ones.
