Sony stuff never breaks for me... I wish Sony would make a car, then the mofo would run forever... I still have my first Sony walkman, from the late 80s... still works, old school! I have a Sony computer, TV, minidisk player, car stereo, home stereo, digital camera... It's a brand I am very loyal to... I'd rather pay more for a Sony than buy somebody else's junk... thanks Mr Morita
 
My top spec (back in 1997 I think) sony walkman broke after 2 years :irked:

My old PSX is still going strong though, just hope my fontopia earphones dont break there great! :)

Aria/Air in Italy is a supposed to be a meaning ofor song or a type of song.

No, you said it does'nt mean air, but Aria does mean air but air in Italian is another way of saying a certain type of song, I'm pretty sure thats right but if not then sorry.
 
1. I said "it's a melody for a single voice in operas" (which you may not know ARE musical pieces, or songs, as you put it)

2. I can't be 100% sure, but I don't think it means air in italian; that would be something like "are" or "aire".
 
You both are correct. Aria means air, and it could mean vocal performance of music. It depends how on you use it in a sentance.

This is where things get complex... The word "Aria" does mean "air". But "air" is also a type of song... With me so far? :D

Think "Air on a G-string"...

An "Aria" is a solo vocal performance within an opera, but "aria" itself doesn't mean "song"... "Aria" means "air" which can mean "song"...

And now I'm going for a nice lay down.
