Anyone who would rent a crap ass BASE neon (with all of about 90 hp) and run it at 90 mph (quite illegal btw) is a fool. Plain and simple. The Neon RT-4 is a fine car and can take on any car of similar size in terms of performance, bith starait and in turns.
If Westfields were so great (as seems to be implied), why are they not exported to the states? Oh yea, too small a company (like almost every British company) for such grand thoughts.
Hell, the best cars made in the UK are both FORDS, the Jaguar and Aston Martin brands. The other two (Bently and Rolls) are now German brands. So lets not get too excited about the great cars around in your little country. The only thing the UK has these days, in terms of cars, is history.........
As for Famine, well, I'm glad you think a UK mag should only cover UK cars in a clearly multinational game. I'm glad you think your cars are so worthy of mention compared to those of the rest of the world. Personally, if I lived in the UK (and I have in the past), then I would want to know a bit more about the WHOLE GAME< not just some tiny little local brands.
Oh, and I be very interested to know what model of Westfields outsold the Dodge Charger or Dodge Challenger. Please, enlighten me on those WORLDWIDE Sales figures.
Or are you trying to tell me that in the UK ONLY there are more Westfields. In that case, so what. There are probably more Smarts too, doesnt make them a worthwhile car for a racing game.
Point of my original thread is this: Don't hold your breath on getting all the little brands you want in GT4. While you may get a few, it's not, in any way, going to be the Superlist 3000 car game that article implied.
As the article claims: "Almost every Marcos Ever made will be in the game". I will believe that only if Marcos made only one car (I have no idea, never heard of them). Same with most tiny UK, US or Mainland Eurpose car makers.
