No it doesn't. A livery editor is just that, a way to paint the car like real racers do, from fullly fledged F1 teams to local grassroots racers. Neons have nothing to do with that whatsoever.

I would prefer to see PD spend the time finishing all the standards before considering neons. In fact we dont need any new features, we need all the standards converted to premiums first.

We need a limo-editor badly, I want to be able to stretch any car I think is too short or needs more presence.
It at least would have a more serious impact on the handling aspects than fitting a bunch of blue lights with the sole purpose of illuminating the tarmac.

If it were wanted that badly, my guess is it'd be in the top 10 in the Feedback section, because that's where people put their wants and desires.

Looking at the rankings, I see it's nowhere close.

In fact we dont need any standards converted to premiums, we need more courses to race those damn 1100+ cars on.

What good is the premium car if I only have same old +/-15 usable courses to race them on?

We need courses. Lots of them. All 24 "standard" GT3/GT4 courses that are not in GT5 are more than welcomed in "GT5 Laguna Seca's quality" - just upscale them and give them to us and you continue to develop GT6 until 2015. Thank you

After read the post of the OP user throughout this thread it is quite funny how he/she thinks people really want this feature. I have never (till now) seen anyone want this. Neon lights sounds more like NFS underground 1 or earlier like 2002 feature on cars.

Most people don't run around with neons anymore or even vinly graphics.

If you're going to waste time on a Livery Editor, which people want it to be like FM's, then how can you not add something so simple as neons? They're both for looks and nothing more. It doesn't add to how a car drives and making a car look like a real world race car's counterpart doesn't make it's specs the same. That's what all the race cars in GT are there for.

Again, I'm not saying we need neon lights in GT, but who cares if there is? Same argument with people saying they don't want to see others' crappy looking cars Online. That's not a good argument.

You're ignoring the fact that people do care about having it in the game whether you like it or not. Think about all the people who have and use FM for the Livery Editor alone. I wasn't someone who cared if they added the option to put wheels on the Standard cars. Now that it's here, what's so bad about having the option to do it? Some of you guys are acting like it's "newbish" to add neons to a car. It seems elitist.

You can say it about something like this, obviously. Adding neon to the exterior of any car is going overboard and distracting.


Also, you can't deny how many people (MILLIONS!!!) who would want to replicate "The Fast and the Furious" cars. Denying something, because of how not serious it is isn't a good argument. Plain and simple.

Neon lights in FM at this stage would suck. Neon lights on Night tracks would add something to night racing online in GT.
