Should GT5 Get Neon?

I'd rather have a livery editor, a lot more "creativity" can be done with that than..........lights..............

I wouldnt mind being able to do special lisence plates on cars like midnite club dub edition let you.

What's next? Hydraulics? People already abuse those in Midnight Club (ex., Murcielago low riders xD)

Whether you want neons or not (I couldn't care less if they add 'em or not), the only people whom's opinion truly matters is Kazunori & PD's. If they want neons, or anything else in the game for that matter, they'll put them in, and our opinions be damned.

I'd love a '95 Dodge Neon... But seriously, GT could use more customization but neons are last on the list. I would not want to see them in the game.

No boyracer parts needed...

What we do need is :

-boost pressure
-valve timing
-over the top complicated real life tuning :-)
-exhaust smoke would be nice too

These and a livery editor are a must for games like GT or FM, not neon. GT is about cars, racing and tuning cars and with a livery designer, to create your own racecar, not "pimpin" your car to be Fast and Furious on the 'Ring and lose the cops first and to pick up honeys and later to be da "King of the Spa Streets".

And if you look at racecars, grassroots racers, vintage racecars and many others they don't have neon lighting installed. Why would someone think racing liveries have neon and big chrome wheels:confused:? There's alot of tracks that are daytime and some night tracks and 24hrs shifting ones. So why does GT need neon? It's useless, if you want neon, play NFS or Midnight Club.

And like brownkid said, if properly done, it can look good on show cars or if anyone takes their time installing it. But usually it's abused.

In general there is so much wrong with the body kits in GT5, selection, function, you name it. There are several cars that I have wanted to tune but never did because it would be lacking a good body kit (I like the cars that I have worked on to SHOW that they have had work done and be discernible from their stock counterparts). I have my parameters for tuning, must have at least one stock car aside from the one that will be worked on, must always get the full suite of mods (I wont just do one piece of the mods, like add a turbo without doing anything else, it has to be the entire kit, if I mod a car for a race but without intention for a full tune like I did to one of my Gallardos for the Gallardo trophy, I only use pieces that can be then removed from the car after they served their purpose), and it must have a good looking kit to let me know that it is in fact the tuned car. Is it a bit strict? Yeah, but it keeps my garage organized and free of cars that are haphazardly modified. I wish GT5 gave me more options.

I see what you mean and I agree, hence why I said what I did. If GT provided FIA spec body kits like the GT1/GT2/GT3 we see in real life, that would do a massive lift to the game as far as exterior customization goes. Also those parts would have massive function to them and give cars a new great dynamic look. We all wish GT as a series had more options, and it has been asked for a long time now.

Hell no! It was ugly and useless in the 90's and it still ugly and useless. Only people who actually like this are probably kids.
