I've played gt2 before but that was when i was younger.

So far I've beaten a bunch of races in the Beginner League with a PT cruiser and a moddified miata that I won.

Sounds like you're taking the same path I did when I started.

Incidentally, if you're willing to do some work the PT Cruiser can win the Beginner Stars & Stripes series, and that can help save a lot of cash later on. Oh yeah, and turn off the ASM in all your front-wheel drive cars, it kills their cornering ability.
