also a song i badly want in this game is Radar Love by golden earing, its the altimate driving song, for those who know of this song they will understand, those who dont download it. just picture driving with this songplaying in a old convertable mustang on a country road with, aviator glasses on, and leather driving gloves. that would rock so much.

Also, Samuel L. Jackson is playing one of the Cops that give CJ a hard time (my guess is the one that says "Boo!" in the 2nd Trailer). He doesn't need to sound gangster.

There is Country Music, Classic Rock, Alternative, Jazz/Funk/Blues, Rap, Old School Rap, Soul, Chat Station, House and Reggae. Probably others, but I can't think of them right now.

Also, just going to view those Insane Stunt videos now. Do IGN have a copy of San Andreas or something? Because if they don't, how would they make these videos? Rockstar didn't send them to IGN, I'm sure.

Excellent. Sorry if I came across as annoyed, well I kind of am. Alot of people have been doing this lately. I think before people post information, some searching is in order. Or at least checking the last 2 pages (or more, depending on the age of the information).

This was kinda wrapped up in the last page, but just a little comment on the cars dissapearing thing.

The police impound lot has made a return, and most (if not all) of your abandoned cars will appear there. This is probably due to the fact that you wouldn't want to lose your suped-up baby just in case you had to abandon it in an emergency.

I'm not sure how you'd get the car back though, I'm thinking if any cops are in the near vicinity you'll get a higher-than-normal-procedure wanted level.

I looked at the HUD, where IS the wanted level meter? :confused: :confused:
 
I've seen screens of the hud from the leaked version with the wanted level displayed beneath your money. I guess it's just hidden when you're not a wanted man.

I was reading the update in case I missed something....obviously I did.

I read that you could BUY cars now? Whoa, never saw that coming (it's grand theft auto not grand purchase auto)

Will it be like the dealership in vice city? Or will they actually have a parking lot with cars you can look at and choose from? It also said select vehicles would be for purchase. DAMN. I wish all of the cars could be up for sale at one point or another, so you wouldn't have to go hunting a car down that you want.

Just a thought. :D

Nope, not trailer #3, these are videos exclusive to gamespot.

And as for the whole car buying, I'm actually quite thrilled to see this! I think this means that cars that are really rare in real life, like the Ferrari F40 lookalike in Trailer #2 (it's only on screen for about 1 second) will have to be bought. This means that such cars will be very hard to find, if not impossible to find on the streets, which adds gobs of realism imo.

Sorry to all the Lazlow fans, but it doesn't look like he will be making a return. On the other hand, I'm quite pleased that Maurice Chavez is coming back to talk radio for SA!

I am impressed. Very good selections on the classic rock front, I got some pleasant surprises seeing Foghat, and Tom Petty on the list. But I'm exstatic that Lyrnrd Skynrd's epic 9 minute track Freebird is on! Big surprise to me there! Radio:X also looks very strong, with Ozzy, Depeche Mode, and Soundgarden being new artists on the soundtrack that I am really looking forward to listening to!

And now to read the review! My thoughts on it soon.
 
As reported yesterday, Official Playstation Magazine (US) gave San Andreas a Game of the Month award as well as a score of 5/5. We now know more that is printed in the magazine.

The magazine confirmed the co-op feature. Two-player rampages are possible (on-foot and in-car). There are other two-player modes, too. The screen is not spilt during this.

It just seems starnge that 2P has until now been seen as a hoax but for the OPM (No, it's not because they are official) to come out and say it is a totally different thing. It is one thing a website saying something but another for a respected magazine.
Still, I believe it when I see it, which is probably November 2.

Ok,I was on the SA site last night and when I clicked on the Venturas strip, it showed seen on the side of the back of the F40 type car speeding down the strip, and it was yellow.

Anyways, seems my wish has come true. Here's what I plan to do.
Get a car carrier (said before)
Find the baddest cars in the game, buy them, and then, hello road going auto show! When bored, park in the garage, and then go off.

I figure this won't be possible due to a problem that all the nice cars will be in Venturas.
You know what'd be cool? You know how they have police auctions? Wonder if you'll be able to buy cars for cheap. Example. Buy the F40 from a used garage. It'd have a few damage, but fix it up! Or police auction. The car has some problems, and you have the possibility of getting caught.

I know, wishing. Anyways, 1st thing I'll do. Still waiting to see that Lamborghini.
Also, if there are twice as many cars as there were in VC (97), then that comes close to over 194 cars! We;ll have to see if there are more than 1 type of Ferrari or that. 👍

I hope there are towtrucks in the game in which you can control the boom and wheellift and pull cars around. That would be most awesomeness. 👍 I could start my own car repo business. ;)
