New DLC on the way.

I was prompted this morning when I loaded up Dirt 3.

On the main menu a note appeared "power and glory pack available soon"

Anyone else? Looks like we will get one of the four large DLC pack sooner then we thought!

This is not news. We've known about the additional DLC for quite some time now. You should do a search of the forum next time. The search function might require serach terms to be four letters long or more, but this subforum only has three pages. A quick visual check would find you the thread(s) you need.

I'm aware (as Im sure anyone who visits this forum is) of the future DLC which has been leaked all over the internet. (Not only this forum)

All I was pointing out was that it seems we can expect the first DLC pack sooner then we thought. Up in'till this recent update...CM hadn't released a time frame on when we could expect one of the four large DLC packs.

Is this forum not a place to share our excitement and interest in a specific subject. I.E Dirt 3?...

Seeing as this is the first big DLC on the way...FOR DiRT 3, I figure it is very appropriate to see who else shares in my excitment.

There's plenty of other threads regarding DLC, and a general discussion thread. Unfortunately although the pop up says soon, how soon is soon we have no idea so it's difficult to be considered as news worthy at this point. Coming soon means it's on its way which we already knew and nothing more for now, it's a case of how long is a piece of string here.

Your judgement calls reguarding the conductivity of this forum are mearly weightless annoyances the rest of us are forced to read time and time agian.

By all means if a moderator feels this thread needs to be merged with a simlar thread or removed altogether then they will do so.

I am under no illusions as to what I am, thank you. And, for your information, I was a moderator around here once before I gave it up. So I happen to actually know what the process of moderation involves, and I can safely say that this thread does not have much life left in it. If you look elsewhere on the forums, you'll see plenty of instances where regular members point out that a thread already exists.

And for the record the "I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing (even though I know it's wrong) until a moderator tells me to stop" defence will win you no friends.

Its kinda annoying, really, when people bitch about someone pointing out that what has been done could have been done better. Its also kinda annoying to see duplicates over and over again. A forum with form and structure is much better than a forum without.
