See if your country is on this list - divide the cost ($5) by 100 and multiply by the number in that table, then convert the answer in the usual way to your own currency.

It's not perfect, but "technically" you may not be buying imported goods (certainly not in the EU, or anywhere there is a dedicated SCE subsidiary), so straight exchange rates aren't the best comparator.

EDIT: Don't forget sales tax; I don't think it's added for the US, because they do things differently per state, at least so I've read.
For the UK: the table says 133 (seems higher than normal, it's usually around 100), which translates to $6.65, which is £4.25 - plus 20% sales tax (VAT) is £5.10. So, in a sense (provided the parity of goods is applicable, and up to date) in the UK we're getting a bargain at £3.99! (Equivalent to $3.90 in the US). It's far from exact, and this is a massive over-simplification, but no more than straight conversion by means of a foreign exchange rate. Really, what dictates the price, as already said, is the value attributed to the market - i.e. how much they think we're willing / stupid enough to pay.

Do you have the faintest idea what is going on in the world of video games or DLC these days?

There are companies that charge you more than this to unlock content that is already in the game.....or more than this for a character skin...or to unlock an overpowered weapon so you have an unfair advantage on the first days play.

PD charging a couple of bucks for 2 new tracks is on the very low side of what people do with DLC.

I'm driving the Scion right now.

For the ones asking if it will have different aero kits than the 86: No

Different wheel selection: No

LHD: Yes

Turbo upgrade or SC: No

Does it feel different?: Less tail happy. Could be a placebo effect, but who knows.

Does it sound different?: No. Same sample than the 86.

Does it appear in the dealerships under Scion?: Yes.

Only differences I notice in this car is the analog speedometer which is in miles and kilometers, and the digital speedometer which is in miles. The seats are different as well.

Overall, I'm affraid to say that the car is no different than the 86, nor gives you the feeling that your driving a different car unless you use cockpit cam(like me). At the end, with this car added, now it gives you an opportunity to choose from the original JDM version or the American version. Just like the Infinity G35 and JDM Skyline.

I actually like it. Surprising since I'm not a fan of Japanese cars besides the GT-R.

I already found an annoying glitch on the Superspeedway.

If you do a pit stop during a NASCAR race, your pit crew aren't there and you just sit there. I've only tested this in arcade mode with tire wear though.

This issue does not exist in 'Free Run Mode' online, nor during an actual race online. Personally confirmed.

The car is free, Robin. I wouldn't pay a dime for it...

PD had no obligation of putting the track in from the start. It's a great circuit and layout-wise, it's a great addition to the game. Lastly, even though I find the pack a bit overpriced, everyone knows the market defines the product's value, and since pretty much everyone is willing to pay $5+ for it, why on Earth would they charge us less than that? That'd just be plain stupid.

They problem stems from the 'take my wallet PD' attitude some people have which is utter fanboyness similar to what you see with Apple. The result is they know they can charge anything they want and also are able to string you along for ages and ages. People should stop giving praise to something that's sub par because its gives them a licence to print money.

Also seeing as the track as well as many others were in the previous iteration of the franchise is it not unreasonable to assume it should have been in from the start especially as pretty much nothing has been done to it graphically (its just the GT4 model in 1080p). I can't believe how many tracks didn't end up in GT5 considering they had years and years.

Yes I do and those games don't come out unfinished after 5 years of development. What others sell you afterwards may well be equally overpriced and the whole concept of paid DLC stinks but at least the game (AAA ones anyway) is a complete / concise package without the extras which GT5 is not (standard premium for example). It disappointed me so much that I still cannot believe it was released in that state and they still haven't rectified half of what is wrong with it. Forget adding one car and track here and there and getting people to shell out for it, the whole game needs an overhaul. But hey its just my opinion.

I personnally think that this car was a combination of pressure from the fans to give them a car and trying to incorporate scion into the NCD. The tC in iQ could be incorporated into GT5 because they are both useful cars. Also, if they do decide to start premium-ing standard cars (which I doubt they ever will) the xA and xB would need a place to go.

Me too. Honestly, when trying to get the "Car Collector" trophy every car counts. I know there are some people who just don't care but I bought 8 Daihatsu Midget IIs so far just to get this trophy. I accept the Scion with open arms and would do the same with the BRZ.
