So i went to get Motegi and i have .20 cents in wallet so i press buy thinking it'll take me to a screen that'll say add funds. Well it doesnt it says purchase complete/ downloaded and installed and the .20 cents is still there. Did i just get Motegi for free?

Willing to bet that your credit card information is stored.

Can you use VISA Debit cards with PS Store?

I use VISA Vanilla gift cards in the PS Store so Visa debit cards should work I think..

Right well sorry for sounding such a noob, but what numbers should you enter?

The numbers on the front of the card, the date it expires, and the security code on the back right (3 digits).

I think that's all they ask for other than your name, card-wise.

My card does not seem to have a security code... or maybe i'm blind...

on the code at the back of the card where your sig is it is the last 3 digits.:)

Doesn't Motegi looks nicer , graphics wise ? i think so...

Found it, purchasing now 👍

Yes you can. I've had my VISA debit card on my account since the beginning and have never had a problem.

Nicer than what? It's pretty low in terms of GT5 track quality.

It's nice enough for those of us who actually pay attention to the road when we're racing and not oogling at the scenery.

You're trying to tell me your eyes see only the tarmac and nothing else? You must have the best focus of any man on earth.

Is it that bad? Videos I've seen look ok.

When I'm racing, yes. I'm paying attention to where I'm at, where the car should be going, and who's around me on the track.

Cardboard people? Don't care. Cardboard trees? Don't care. Grass textures outside the track? Don't care.

No, it's not bad at all. Some people are just too picky.

That's a shame for the photo guys. Racing is ok though as you said.

Its been awhile since I had been on Motegi, but I've never considered the scenery as pretty as the Ring. As such, and as already mentioned, I focus on the drive and track.

If you're fast, the scenery just gets blurry anyway. GT aids this and simplifies with its scenery design. This isn't The Real Landscaping Simulator.

No, but it matters. You can't tell me this sort of thing would be fine as a final version?

Come on man, that's pushing it. Mr Negativity.

Scenery is nice to have in your peripheral vision, yes. But having it uber detailed is NOT a priority in a racing game.

Thought that was route x until he turned right.

I beg to differ :dopey:. ahh jk

The YouTube videos I've seen of this track make it look like it's total crap quality. The road surface looks the worst in those videos for one. That to me threw off the entire look of the track.

I'm watching on iPhone and it doesn't look to bad at all.

Check out real footage of the track. You can't seriously expect scenery like the Ring and SPA. It just doesn't exist in real life at that location.

Exactly, the Nordschleife was designed as a tourist attraction, Spa was formed originally from public roads - a good portion of it follows those same routes. Motegi? Built to attract IndyCar to Japan, for domestic motorsport and for Honda's car testing purposes in 1997. Not really comparable, sadly.
