New Drift Team Join Now!!!!!

And if I was really putting him down I'd be all "I cannot believe how incredibly stupid you are. I mean rock-hard stupid. Dehydrated-rock-hard stupid. Stupid so stupid that it goes way beyond the stupid we know into a whole different dimension of stupid. You are trans-stupid stupid. Meta-stupid. Stupid collapsed on itself so far that even the neutrons have collapsed. Stupid gotten so dense that no intellect can escape. Singularity stupid. Blazing hot mid-day sun on Mercury stupid. You emit more stupid in one second than our entire galaxy emits in a year. Quasar stupid. Your writing has to be a troll. Nothing in our universe can really be this stupid. Perhaps this is some primordial fragment from the original big bang of stupid. Some pure essence of a stupid so uncontaminated by anything else as to be beyond the laws of physics that we know. I'm sorry. I can't go on. This is an epiphany of stupid for me. After this, you may not hear from me again for a while. I don't have enough strength left to deride your ignorant questions and half baked comments about unimportant trivia, or any of the rest of this drivel." Duh..

chill, bro,you gonna make the n00bz cry.....

Anewayz, i encourage this team. We need some beotchs....errr.competition around here to have battles

i still think the idea of a silvia based drift team is a great idea.....however, i feel these video drift competitions arent as fulfilling as an actual 2 player online battle would be:p
if only there was a way to connect the ps2 to ur computer and have a gt3 program that linked racers together...so u open the program with ur comp...chat up a challenge...maybe even have a forum, all linked over the net, then directly connect through ur comp into the game and race!!
imagine challenging someone on this forum then being able to connect and race right away in real time!!!!

Citia Di Aria is the closest thing I've seen..the roads are downhill and theres only about 2 feet of wiggle room..

I'd suggest shortening your Sig. The mods will get on your butt if it isnt under 6 lines. ;)

Stupid Trance songs..I don't know why, but I've been listening to trance for the past 7 or 8 days. And now, I think its actually kinda neat..Jazz is smooth, but if you wanna get happy n shi1t it works. :)

Atleast Initial D is half-way realistic with the cars, techniques, and courses (yes there is a Gunma project in japan). A lot better than some of these ricer car shows that come on Speedvision and TNN.

BTW, the heel toe is a lot harder than it looks.

As said earlier, yee-ha. Another mediocre team, founded by someone proved to be a complete idiot on the boards.

And no, Initial D! is not realistic, it's a pipe-dream. It's Keichii Tsuchiya's pipe-dream, at that. Or something. It's entertaining for a while, and then it isn't. Simple as that.

Re-read, I said half-way realistic. It's 100% better than that Nopi Tunervision or Hi-Rev Tuners. What I dont consider realistic is like DragonballZ, but Initial D has real cars (not just concepts), and heck if it wasnt for Initial D the AE86 would still just be a pos carbuerated 4cyl. You dont see any big body kits, and on the show the wings are functional, not just something that some 16yr old kid throws on for looks. I find it very entertaining, doesn't mean I go out and try everything I see.

..Its not realistic, but I'll just say I agree. It may be realistic, but its just plain stupid.

the drift team craze has started yet again...

Why do you call it a craze? You said like you think you're better than us because you did it first. I got news for you, some of us have had this planned well before you came out with Project D, so get off your pedastol. No one cares if you were the first.

The level of seriousness in which this whole team-based competition is taken is really ridiculous.

As for calling it a craze, why are you taking offense at it? Quite obviously, it was directed at the recent explosion of third-rate teams like "zaku mobile suit" team (or whatever), this waste of space on the boards here, and all the other 2-man ventures that pop up 'n die.

Monkey D's been around long enough and shown enough skill that I think it's easily, easily automatically exempt from any reference to "new" or "crappy" teams. But for that matter, even by stating "well I've got news for you, we planned first" comes across as being on a pedestal of your own, but not to any extent that it's really awful. Why can't we all get along? :P

But yeah. Misinterpretations over the internet are awesome.

i dont see why we gotta trash initial D, i find it fun to watch....and its place in the drifting community has provided it with a sense of pop-culture.
sure the shows unrealistic, but so what, its a cartoon, its not meant to be realistic, its just a simple story like most other cartoons but based on a midnight street sport....nuthin wrong with that....

oh and there are real life drift racers like that in japan, i have more than enough videos showing such things...as well as actual teams and races.....not that the most of you dont already know that:lol:

It's not a pedastol, I don't care. It makes no difference either way. But you're right. In the ramblings of a mad man is a voice of reason...

Dude, one month after Project D was up, ONE team popped up, mine. Then a couple more pooped up. You must live in a very dull city to call that a craze.

Who the hell cares anyway? Does it change anything? No. How many worth while teams are there? Two if you wanna count yours.

So in 7 (count 'em, 7) minutes, you learned how to drift?

I think that speaks to how much of a Master of Grip you might be.

Out of curiousity, can someone please explain the point of these teams? Do you compete against each other? If so, why accept the first 20 members - should you be looking for good drifters? I'm honestly trying to understand.
