Also, I apologize to everyone about the image. I know it does look retarded and cause epileptic fit and/or seizure. But hey, I'm the only one crazy enough to do it right? đź’ˇ
Um....

I should have figured. I feel like I'm going into a seizure the moment the page opens.
from this point forward no animated background images will be allowed.
Well, of course they could be, but consider what kind of potential situations that could put me in. Rules that are not well-defined open the door to complaints of favoritism, and do indeed encourage it in people with even the best intentions.
Oh well, my latest scheme will have to do until I can make something beyond awesome in the near future.
Way to go Jordan......Yes, from this point forward no animated background images will be allowed. I'll send Casio a message informing him of the new rule.
I have tested to try and put a background on it, but it always align to the top left of the page, is there any way I could make it placed at the center of the page?
Oh, yes, sorry! Web standards dictate that browsers are to display background images in the top left of its containing element. CSS (cascading style sheets) gives you some control over how it is repeated or positioned from that starting point, but this is only done when you have full stylistic control over the web page. I'm not able to give you control over the CSS of profile pages, just colors and background images, so I am sorry to say that it won't be possible for you to do. Just look for a background image that "tiles" well (there are many images out there created just for this purpose) and you will be in good shape. 👍Way to go Jordan......👍
But still, can you answer my question please.....?![]()
Well I think most people are aware of this. Its to stop people doing those "hate posts" where they type with capital letters and with many exclamation mark to show that the are screaming at the person. Either way, its not really much of a problem for me.Jordan, I notice if we don't have any lowercase in our post, the capitalisation is removed and the entire post is turned to lowercase.
Are you aware of this feature?
Yes, it's actually been a feature of our forum software for quite some time.Jordan, I notice if we don't have any lowercase in our post, the capitalisation is removed and the entire post is turned to lowercase.
Are you aware of this feature?
OK. Well, I'd have to say that it hasn't worked until this latest upgrade then.![]()
You'd think that some type of email notification would be a rather obvious feature, wouldn't you? Notice there are no email notifications for public profile messages, either! I've been critical of the vB developers for the lack of this functionality in their official support channels, and hopefully it is something we will see in upcoming software versions.

Okay, thanks again Jordan. 👍 Well I could give tiling another go, maybe even a carbon looks perhaps?
Yes, it would help a little bit. I'm going to try and make groups more accessible from the main site, though such modifications keep getting delayed with all these other little fixes and tweaks that must be done.Yeah, I noticed there was no email. Wouldn't it save bandwidth, too? As it is, I have to browse through 3-4 pages just to reach the Groups bit - and as a premo, I don't even see the ads...
PNG is the only image format which supports alpha transparency, and I am sure that our albums here will accept and display PNG images. I honestly don't know if the server-side album software is processing the image in a way which would remove the alpha channels, so the best way would be to just make your own image and try it out. Keep in mind, however, that only visitors with very modern browsers will be able to see the effect.Jordan, quick question, is it possible to upload semi transparent image files to get a box look similar to what Touring Mars has cleverly done with solid images... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/member.php?u=7647

It'll be good if you do... I'm probably doing it wrong but I'm saving blank PNG images in photoshop which are transparent and are appearing completely white as soon as I upload them.Ok thanks, il try that out👍

Jordan:Not nagging or anything but would it be not so far out of your way to let us non prems have a little more customisation to our profile? Just a thought, im not really fussed...
